I got this lovely braid from @hbfllc at #fiberintheboro2017 and I absolutely fell in love. I got home and almost immediately fell in love and did not stop spinning until I was finished. It is 58 yards chinky and it was a 4 ounce hand dyed polworth braid! 😍
What's one thing you're thankful for this past weekend? Please, feel free to be as mushy gushy OR basic as you want! 😅😁 I am thankful for a husband that makes me laugh all day 💕 and Brian said he's thankful for the time we spent together this weekend. What about you?
Knit, knit, swim, knit. Livin' my best life! || Alternate caption: being a knitter in Southern California is hard. Late october beach weather, meanwhile I'm over here knitting a wool sweater waiting for sweater weather...
Been adding in the pattern of the river - after a few knits where the tension seemed a bit too tight - the burgundy and maroon is knitting up so perfectly. Meewasin branches V in cream & navy I am no longer feeling - the yarns are a good mix - but just not for this - so it is coming out. And I am back to the multicolor - with white this time. Starting out the differences seem too big - but I think it will be better in the end than a more subtle cream or beige.
And some #mozartinthejungle binge watching to go with it all. I am missing having knitting weather.
It's a gloomy day in WI today. ☁☁☁ I woke up late and started crafting while watching Lifetime movies. /// This piece is still a WIP. I was at Hobby Lobby yesterday and came upon these fake cotton branches that reminded me of the beautiful cotton branch macrame hanging by @knotted_lace. #inspired

"A home cradled by the sea is where my heart belongs". Had such a hard time with a saying...read lots of quotes on line but in the end came up with one of my own that means a lot to me". Two more days on my island home before heading back to the other world. It's been a lovely two months.

You may have heard of arm knitting, but you should really give crocheting without a hook a whirl! Make this stunning throw blanket in no time. Crochet stitches in this extra-large scale are fabulously structural and plush at the same time. This class is perfect for folks that have never picked up a crochet hook AND for the most experienced crocheter who's up for applying their crochet techniques to something new. The best part is you only have to have one loop on your hand at any given time. Students will learn how to make chains, single crochet stitches, manage tension, and finish your crochet. Gorgeous!
