Sometimes I find myself in the right place at the right time.
This magic only lasted a couple of minutes and it was probably the fastest I ever got ready for a shoot!
Photography is a lot about being persistent and it keeps teaching me to never give up in other areas of my life. Sometimes only 1 out of 100 photos is good, but it still makes the effort worth it ☀️
“Take Me Back to Where it all Ended”
"The earth laughs in flowers" -Ralph Waldo Emerson
Each time I approach the finish of a painting of a burst of flowers, my fascination of them deepens. Demanding my full attention and all the skill I can muster to recreate their petals with some accuracy, they become my fleeting companions. And if I approach the process correctly, what begins as a study of botanical anatomy slowly turns into a poem that my heart can memorize and recite often. What a joy it is to live amongst them.
