Finally starting to nail the whole ‘baby in nature’ debacle. I think it’s important to honour my initial thoughts here of when Charlie was but four weeks old. Vampires. Babies are all vampires. They suck and chew and bite our flesh and can’t stand the sun, and I swear I’ve heard a little hiss every now and then when I open the car door and the real world shines her in the face. And so to balance this with our love for the beach, we keep her well fed under the beach tent I swore I would never buy, while wearing the dicky baby hat I swore she would never wear while constantly stopping her from eating the sand I swore I would let her munch. #parenting101#forgetalltheplans
A beautiful afternoon spent sampling beers locally brewed on the Mornington Peninsula
This amazing space was once the world glass Freedman horse training facility. The stables are now drinking booths.@sab.brewery
Day 9. Freycinet to Fingal.
Wow. Some of the most spectacular scenery possible. Sheer granite cliffs against stunning beaches and rugged coves. Absolutely beautiful!
However..gotta say I'm still going with Binalong Bay to be the most family friendly and stunning beach in the world. This is the best of the best.
Onto the stunning Fingal Valley on the way home to catch up with family. My sister and brother in law are in the midst of building a bed & breakfast to both reinvigorate themselves...and the area. Stunning new premises coming...only the framework and roofing up now but look out Tasmania...there's a newcomer. So proud to say its a family business and Cheers to you both for living the dream. Clearly Tassie makes dreams come true. Last official day before we head back to Port Sorell to be ready for a glorious morning sail.
