Tips for Cooking in the Field: Any stones used for cooking or that are placed directly within a fire should NEVER come from creek beds or rivers. Even if they appear dry, they can still hold moisture that will cause a fracture when heated. Plus, they can create great danger from flying debris when they explode.
ONE WEEK AWAY ☝️join us ‘Devil’s Night’--we'll embrace our primal self, and you should too. 🔥fire worship will take place, so look your best 🔥
Things will are going to get weird with Helen Gillet playing in the yard; Naked wines will be flowing.
The Details --We’ll fire up the grill and load up an assortment of meats and veggies. The feast will be ready to eat by Sunset. While things heat up, we'll be pouring the best naked, natural wines. Wear your best costume, of course. As much fun as it is to indulge, it's also part of human nature to help the greater community. Proceeds from each Primal Night will benefit the relief efforts in Puerto Rico.
If you have been following my IG stories then you know we have been working crazy hard to make our dreams come true of our first big farm dinner. I've heard lots of people already say the night was "magical". I wish I could come up with another word but magical seems to express how special it was.
At the top pasture under the star lit night we sat down at a 100 ft table filled with a jumbled up group of farmers and artists and people who love and support farm to table food. We engaged at the most intimate level that our food does have a story and our dreams came to fruition as we watched chefs and breweries and musicians put on such a spectacular event.
I am confident this is the beginning of amazing things to come and it's just the start of more #kindreddinners .
