More photos from today's women's march in Seattle where Patriot Prayer supporters clash with women’s rights activists. Despite the cold and drizzle, thousands of protestors march in Seattle, Washington on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018 in support of women’s rights, and a host of other social-justice issues.
Luckily I hooked up with at least one friend after marching alone and not alone amongst thousands of other wonderful people- Saudamini Sigrist, the playwright who wrote my recent play “ I am Antigone “, a contemporary take on Antigone from her perspective. It’s a cry for Freedom and a kick in the balls of the Patriarchy. Theater can change the world! #womensmarch#womensmarchnyc#pussypower#theater#wethepeople#democracy#firstamendment
I ❤️ great journalism and storytelling. The Post is a love letter to the First Amendment, the importance and complexity of messy truths coming to light, and the impact of brave women who make their voices heard.
Loved seeing this movie with fellow @drakejmc alum @doppold! Couldn’t help but recall learning about the Pentagon Papers from Prof. Woodward in J-History. 🎟📰 #thepost#firstamendment#freedomofthepress#freepress#pentagonpapers#checksandbalances
One of my goals for 2018 is to be more active and vocal regarding issues that threaten the Separation of Church and State. I firmly stand by the claim that protecting the First Amendment and our Freedom of and From Religion is beneficial to EVERYONE, regardless of their religious beliefs. I look forward to finding my way in this goal, and for now I will begin with sharing this picture from the 2016 Reason Rally in DC, and offering up an invitation to discuss this topic with anyone who is interested. #separationofchurchandstate#religiousfreedom#activism#humanism#firstamendment#atheist#ReasonRally#ReasonRally2016 @americansunited
