I'v got to share some thoughts...it seems that i live in one of the most safe and sophisticated countries ever, cause our supreme court now passed a law that fixed gear bikes DO need rear rimbrake...which means it's illegal to ride brakeless or with just a front brake. Well, thanks to all the big-wage lawyers that focus on regulating such things other than try to stop real crimes, try to ban drugs, abuse, corruption and other things that would be worth their energy. Not only do brakes look so shitty, i'm able to ride 100km + without even touching a brakelever...it ruins what's fixed gear all about.
December Reflections, Day 14: 10 Years Ago...we bought our house. It continues to be my introverted, homebody self's safe place. Often, I focus on what needs fixing, freshening, or remodeling (installing hardwood floors, buying mid-century modern furniture...You know, #firstworldproblems and #middleclassprivilege ). But, then, I remember my minimalist goals, and return to appreciation for my quirky, colorful space. Our home became even more meaningful when I homebirthed my daughters here, and they came to love this space too. #decemberreflections2017
