Reel: Best way to get to the Blue River, you say?
Tale: I may not be the sharpest tool in the box.. but I definitely use all the tools I've got! When I discovered it was a 1.7 mile hike in to the catch and release area on the Blue, it became a no brainer. Bike it! Before an injury that set me back, and in turn led me to discover the deeply rooted passion of fishing, I was hitting the mountain bike trails whenever I could. Can't say I've ever biked with waders, gear, and more gear.. but it sure is fun. Practical way to spend more time on the water. The most common thing I've heard from folks about the Blue is not wanting to have to hike so far from your car. I once read/heard most fishermen won't walk more than a 1/4mile from their car to a fishing spot. Hah, sure limits a lotta folks. Bring on the challenge, especially if I'm not going to see another soul when I arrive. #reeltatetales
Michael came into the shop the other day looking for a waterproof pack for his daughter. He ended up goin with the Fishpond Thunderhead Submersible Sling and said: “I’ll probably end up coming back and getting one for myself too.” ... see you soon Michael! @fishpondusa
