Care to #critiquemymeal prep?
I have been wrestling with the question, how can a simple #smokedpork#porkshoulder#porkbutt make for #healthyeating and consistent #weightloss ?
My best guess is through good #portioncontrol
I smoked a $9 pork shoulder butt with some #maplewood I got from a friend last fall, and pulled and shredded the pork #pulledpork
Then I used my #Chefmate digital #kitchenscale to determine how much meat would be an even 100g. I found a small plastic container that was the perfect size physically and stuffed 100g of pork into it, then from it into snack size @ziploc bags, until I had emptied an entire gallon size Ziploc bag of the meat, retaining the other gallon size bag for family use this week.
I then put all 16 of these 100g bags in my freezer, so I can enjoy pulled pork as often as twice a week for the rest of the winter.
100g of pork shoulder is estimated at 269 #calories , 19g #fat and 23g #protein , accounting for 29% DV of fat and 46% DV of protein.
How would you improve upon this #mealprep approach next time?

Way more attuned to running. I pushed myself today and ran at a fast pace for the first 5 min then pushed through at my normal pace for another 10.I've started to get pain on top of my foot. It's pretty bad on my right side. So I iced it and tied my laces in the crossbar method. Unfortunately that also means I'll be cutting this week to two runs rather than 3. Which. Sucks. But I'm trying to catch this early before it becomes something really bad.
30 min treadmill avg incline/speed 2.3
50 reps ab crunch
40 reps bicep curl
40 reps chest press
75 reps leg press
3 min elliptical (I gave up half way lol)
I really enjoyed today’s workout. We went pretty late and there were very few people there, which is always great. Imma feel it in the morning!
I met my daily water goal for the first time today! I’m trash at drinking water! Yay me! And I met my steps goal as well! Hopefully I can say the same for tomorrow! Night, y’all! 💕💪🏼MK
Something I've forgotten to mention is during my absence it was found out that I have low blood pressure. I accidentally cut out almost all salt as my fiance has high blood pressure. I ended up fainting all dramatic like on the train. So it's been interesting learning how to deal with that (aka eat more SALT!) So if you see more salt on my food pics that's why. I'm 5 months almost exactly to my wedding so I'm ready to really push for another period of rapid weight loss. Sorry for disappearing but I'm really finding that having obsessive, massive progress months followed by adjustment months is doing wonders for my on going weight loss. So I might disappear from time to time.

Petit cardio hier soir de mon côté 👌 j'ai dormi comme un bébé 😅. Parfait pour la séance abdos du #cfsstrongsexy de ce matin.
Aujourd'hui je ne me stresse plus avec un ordre de séances et des durées à tenir, je me contente de respecter le repos du groupe musculaire sollicité et cela me va bien mieux. J'aime le cardio auquel j'avais renoncé pour reprendre du poids, j'aime les séances groscuissots et me bouger en général. Le sport n'est pas qu'un moyen de me canaliser, il m'aide àme depasser.
Tout ca pour dire qu'a mon sens il faut aimer ce que l'on fait pour le faire bien. Prenez plaisir à constater que oui vous en êtes capables, oui vous avez des résultats et oui vous aimez avoir cette sensation de dépassement. .

Yesterday marks day 1 of weightloss round three. In the next three months I aim to lose 10-15 kilos, aware that as I get smaller, it's harder to lose. I'm currently 93k. I gained a little in New York but have got just 1k to go to my pre new York 92. I'm back at the gym today and started calorie tracking tomorrow. I'm very ready for more results! Let's do this!
