I cannot believe I've been on this fitness train for more than 120 weeks!! Due to a very short attention span, I rarely keep interest in anything for more than a few weeks so I've shocked myself by sticking with it. There's definitely been some bumps in the road & even a few dead ends, but for once I've kept going & worked out how to overcome them & I am so glad I did. I still detest commandoes but I've learnt to live with the carpet burns on my elbows too. Got home from work a climbed straight into bed feeling pretty sorry for myself. Had every intention of dragging myself to the gym this evening but the last few weeks I've been feeling more and more tired until yesterday I just crashed and burneddddd.
It's pretty frustrating when something like this happens when you've finally got your groove back. One day it's all sunshine and roses, going to the gym is fun and easy, everything tastes amazing (even though what you really want is 🍕) then the next day you feel like you're moving through mud, your appetite disappears and all you want to do is sleep 😴. It's hard not to get yourself worked up about it, feeling like you're taking 10 steps back when you've worked so hard to get to where you are.
It's definitely easier said than done but in these lows take the time to really see how far you've come in your journey☀️ My way of seeing this is when I come across an older picture of myself, I see the years of dedication to training and the willpower I've found to change my lifestyle. When I start to come out of my low it makes me excited that my 'after' pictures will someday become the 'befores' 🙃

I am feeling all sorts of BLAH this week.
Although I had a good check-in last week with my coach, I FULLY took advantage of the gorgeous weather here in Seattle this last weekend and went way over my macros. ☀️🍕🍻

My mood today is a little shitty. Could be that the sunshine is gone 🤷🏼♀️ but mostly it's because I hate committing to something and then not following through with it.
I really wanted to see some major traction this week 👉🏼 The reality is I probably won’t because of my choices - and that’s OK - it’s not a race.
Instead of being a brat about it today, I’ll pull my snug pants up, eat a little better and just get back on the horse 💪🏼🍑
