Today I had an awesome AB Day! I’m finally back at the gym!!! Back at the gym??? Wait... what?🤔 Well... Here goes my moment of truth... I haven’t been to the gym in over 2 months!!!! 😱😓😭 but wait... here’s another moment of truth: MY BODY HASN’T REALLY CHANGED!
🤯 How is this possible? Well, I would typically say I don’t freaking know, I’m just lucky!🤷🏻♀️ But I think it has something to do with an amazing product I’ve been taking for the passed 9 months Called DTX7! DTX7 is a health and wellness product that detoxes your body on a cellular level PLUS replenishes it with 78 Trace minerals and amino acids (including L-Carnitine). L-Carnitine helps burn fat, boost your metabolism, and build/retain lean muscle mass!
I swear... if it weren’t for this product I would have probably gained a bunch of weight and lost all the muscle tone that I worked so hard to build! So happy that I’m still just as fit! If you guys wanna try this amazing product you can go to this website and order some: DTX7LIFE.COM
It comes in a one month’s supply 2oz bottle that you can take with you anywhere! All you do is add some drops to whatever you drink everyday! It’s never been easier to detox my body and get all the nourishment that it needs to be completely HEALTHY 💚
G O A L!!! When people think of goals in fitness they often think of a target weight they want to reach. If you think of goals in terms of effort you want to achieve its much easier to quantify your progress. For example I want to work out 4 days this week targeting chest shoulders & triceps with some glute work & cardio exercises. Next week I want to target back biceps & legs with some glute work & cardio. The weight goals will be achieved but only because your putting in the effort. I challenge you to put away the scale & find those pants & top that barely fit & base your progress on how your body changing to fit better in them. What you see in the mirror daily or on the scale may not be reality. I’m @ 170lbs for my height I’m considered overweight according to the BMI scale. Never take anyone else’s opinion on how you look or feel especially that liar the scale. Build a better body by body sculpting which targets your week points to match your sting points. #goals#bodysculpting#scalesaliar#fitover40#fitforlife#leyeftraining#betterbooty
Real talk: shout out to my girls who still workout during that time of the month.💪🏼 These are definitely some of the toughest days to try and get in a lift. If you’re that person that just doesn’t workout for that week here are some tips to try to get you in the gym even when you’re feeling depressed, bloated, crampy, and pissy😖: ▪️Pain killer: if you’re like me, you try as much as possible not to be on pain killer for the whole fricken week; however, when it comes to gym time, TAKE PAIN KILLER.👏🏼 There’s nothing worse than having to curl up in a ball in the locker room and have your precious gym time eaten up.🤦🏽♀️ ▪️Perfume: hating on everything about yourself? Put on some of that perfume.💗 There’s something about smelling good that boosts confidence and happiness.☝🏼 ▪️Makeup: there’s nothing wrong with also putting on some makeup to boost your confidence. YOU DO YOU AND WORK THAT FOUNDATION & MASCARA.💄💋❤️ ▪️Water: (obviously) If you get dehydrated it makes cramps worse and causes more bloating. So, keep drinking water.💦 ▪️Caffeine:🍫🍫☕️ This wonderful drug found in coffee, tea and chocolate can help turn that frown upside down and get you back in the gym! I know caffeine can dehydrate but, if you’re drinking enough water it won’t hurt you. ▪️Lastly, throw on your favorite gym outfit and strut your stuff because you’re fricken hot and deserve to get in a great workout no matter the circumstances.🙌🏼🏋🏽♀️👊🏼
Been doing some thinking lately as a huge day is soon to dawn on me. I’m about to hit a quarter of a century tomorrow. That’s right.. 25 years of age 😦
It just got me thinking .. Is there anything I could have done better with my time? Did I miss out on anything? What’s next? The truth is... everything that you do as an individual promotes growth and it makes you even more ready to tackle what’s in front of you. As long as you keep putting one foot in front of the other with a goal in mind, there is no going wrong. Sure you take some Ls and earn some Ws along the way.. but at the end of the day both happen because of the steps you decide to take 👌🏼
It’s not about being wrong or right.. but rather the growth and experience that you gain. I’m fired up for what’s ahead and am ready to continue the grind. One step at a time 👊🏼 _____________________
P.S. At least I still get asked for my ID anywhere I go.. so there’s still that 😜
Although I am far from my goal body.. I am pretty happy with where I am currently at and with how I feel about myself. That is pretty HUGE for me🎉😄 This fitness journey has taught me a lot- especially how to appreciate all the things I am capable of. Going to the gym and pushing yourself to limits you didn’t think were possible is an amazing feeling. That is why I want to encourage people especially women to work out. Yes, it is hard at first and some times you will have ZERO motivation. But the feeling of knowing “I did it and I crushed it” is worth every part👌🏼💯 P.S. I never take photos from front on because I’m typically more self conscious of the way I look- but here it is! 😝
Legs Unflexed Vs. Flexed: READ 👇🏻
Tbh my legs aren’t that big in my opinion. They pop when I flex them thou 💪🏻. If I held more body fat their they would be bigger, but for me this isn’t the case.
So if you saw my legs you would think I’m quite lean. However, this isn’t really the case. Body fat leave my legs first which is cool. Everyone is different. Most people (bodybuilders) really have to dig to get the legs shreds going. I rather hold more body fat in my legs for a variety of reasons.
1.) Abs lol
2.) I find the more bodyfat I have the better my performance is. Now this is obvious, but the lack of fat on my legs really effects my performance when it comes to squats and dead’s in my opinion. Especially squats. I remember being 210lbs + and squats were butter. Almost dropping into the hole effortlessly and popping right back up. My leverage were just great at the weight, but there’s now way I’m going back to 210 just to perform better on squats. -
Hopefully after maintaining at a lower body weight I can reestablish my squat somewhat and get that feeling back 🙏🏻
Had a fairly good leg and abs session this evening, managed to get a fair few exercises filmed, so I’ll probably upload that tomorrow 👍🏻
Wearing my new Elite vest from @aaesthetica, and it’s super comfy, and love the elastic band on the back, different but I like it👌🏻👌🏻
Also I’m probably looking soo moody cause I feel very sick rn 😢😢
There is no one way only to success. It happens differently for each person. What worked for one can be a failure for another. Even in nutrition, everyone has different requirements all depending on a number of variables. Therefore, like training/working out, not one nutrition plan is right for everyone.
As in "the tools to success", find out what works for you and go with that! The best workout plan or nutrition plan is the one that is on the right path for your goals and that most importantly, that you can adhere to!! (Stay CONSISTENT with). You can have the best program and/or the best meal Plan, but if your not sticking to it, nothing is going to work.
Stay Consistent, Stay Focused, Don't Stop, Don't Give Up and Never Quit💪
