Slept in today again and am fully keeping an eye on that habit... it's been a big two weeks and my brain has needed some major recharging. Felt good to get my workout done even though I despise working out in the afternoon. Low energy, lots of excuses, cuts in to family time- afternoon workouts for me are the worst.
I'm excited for the weekend and to see lots of amazing coaches at our Super Saturday gathering tomorrow and to meet some of my healthy deviant clients for the first time AND see others I haven't seen in a while! It's going to be a good day!

I can’t believe it has been 1.5 years since I committed to a healthy lifestyle! 😱 I am still not where I want to be but I also will not diminish what I have accomplished so far. 💪🏻 Yes, diet and exercise are key, but I can say for a fact that I wouldn’t be where I am today if it were not for It Works! Here we go. First contest prep officially underway. Staring down 40+ weeks of a caloric deficit and likely about as many pounds. I was 173 in these pics. After 70 weeks of a gaining focus I'm hoping to see serious improvements upon cutting. Currently sitting around 215. Obviously the vast majority of that weight gain was not muscle. If I managed 10 pounds of muscle then I'll start looking serious in the low 170s... let's hope I don't have to see the 160s. Can't wait to blow this physique out of the water. Time to reveal the work put in from the past year and a third.

You find what works for you and DO that, don't worry about your version being similar or different to the next person. It still seems crazy to me that I have officially completed The Ultimate Reset. It was tough and some days I wanted to quit, but I reminded myself to just focus on the day in front of me and not worry about tomorrow.
While the photo might not reflect much change, in 21 days I... •learned that I don't need coffee to get my day going •I ate way too much meat. Most days I was having it at every meal •dairy and I are not the best of friends •the food we eat impacts SO many facets of our life •slept sounder than I ever have •woke up with tons of energy and ready to take on the day •gained control of my cravings •realized that I mindlessly snacked when bored •meal prepping would have saved me so much time in the kitchen😳
I decided to do this reset because I wanted get back on track with my nutrition. I was finding myself grabbing processed foods more and more. It was starting to take a toll on me mentally and physically. I was waking up with headaches daily. Those vanished immediately when I started this. This really opened my eyes to just how HUGE of a role nutrition plays in our health.
During these 21 days I was told to only walk or do light stretching. I decided to do yoga a few times a week and was blown away when I saw that I lost 10.2 lbs and 9.5 inches overall in 21 days. All because I dialed in my nutrition. Guys...this is PROOF that what we eat MATTERS!! Start in your kitchen. Focus on real whole foods. Take the time to listen to your body. Pay attention to how you feel after you eat. Become your own advocate!! You deserve to feel nothing but your absolute best! 💗✌🏼️💗
