Geesh, not getting any easier with a newborn in the house. Dinners are generally the only meal I don't pre-prep but I'm quickly realizing evenings with a baby can be complete shit-show. 😅💩
I'm finding it's way easier to carve out extra meal prep time on Sundays to get it done ahead so I don't stress every night. Ya feel me Mommas? 🙋🏻
My other go to pre-prepped snacks are smoothie packs to ensure I'm getting extra veggies and fruit in my diet. Easiest thing ever...just add protein powder & blend! 🥒🍓🌱

You DO NOT need to do sit-ups for days to get a toned defined core. I have been doing a lot of bird dog and monster hold planks variations lately independently and during my classes. 
NOTE: video is sped up x2. The key here is SLOW and CONTROLLED! Looong spine. Belly button pulled towards your spine. FOCUSED MOVEMENTS!

I had my first @invisalign trays put in last night. My eating habits are going to need a little adjusting, so I’m happy I was able to juice earlier this week. My mouth was so sore when I woke up this morning, but I was still able to get some of the nutrients I need without trying to eat raw veggies.

I assure you, I did not have this smile on my face when I woke at 5:30 this morning. I didn’t really feel like working out. Little guy was up, got him situated, check on the pup, oh joy she has had an accident in her crate! Good times. I could have given up, but I cleaned her up, drank my plant power and got down to business. Leg day ✅, I earned this smile.

After nearly 2 weeks out from exercise, due to a nasty virus, I recommitted today. 
OH MY WORD, IT WAS SO HARD, I wanted to cry 😭 and give up.

I feel like I've made a lot of backward steps, strength 💪 and stamina have been lost 😣

Pride, ego, call it what you may, but sometimes when you get in a funk you can’t always find your way out alone. I'm thankful for my community tonight.

This business is hard work, but I don't give up!  I hope my consistency will continue to change lives. 
As they say in the world of the Olympics "The agony of defeat" pretty much brought me down to a low.
It’s not really important for me to go into any of the details, but what I do want you to know I have a pretty strong come back for 2018. 
My new motto is "I Will Find My Voice!"
I’m determined to find those women in my world that are like me. Moms, wives, business owners, fitness professionals, and those who have a determined sense of purpose. Those that are forward and future thinkers. 
I do think we are hard to come by and I’m tired of settling, so I'm not. 
Maybe it’s time you are finally ready to join me on the journey called LIFE!  You don't have to settle either.

Pride, ego, call it what you may, but sometimes when you get in a funk you can’t always find your way out alone. I'm thankful for my community tonight.
That’s what’s happened to me in the last few months as a Coach.
This business is hard work, but I don't give up!  I hope my consistency will continue to change lives. 
As they say in the world of the Olympics "The agony of defeat" pretty much brought me down to a low.
It’s not really important for me to go into any of the details, but what I do want you to know I have a pretty strong come back for 2018. 
My new motto is "I Will Find My Voice!"
I’m determined to find those women in my world that are like me. Moms, wives, business owners, fitness professionals, and those who have a determined sense of purpose. Those that are forward and future thinkers. 
I do think we are hard to come by and I’m tired of settling, so I'm not. 
Maybe it’s time you are finally ready to join me on the journey called LIFE!  You don't have to settle either.

There was definitely a fair amount of indulging done yesterday. It was my little man's 1st birthday and I am TOTALLY OK with it! Not even upset at all.

Here's the thing. I had a fantastic day today, nutrition wise. I used to fall off track and it would take days for me to get fully back on track.

But these days, I have these girls that make me want to be better and do better. They totally keep me accountable.

Not only that but I much rather feel good and have real energy than feel like crap.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I made sure I rocked my workout and ate well today. My body will thank me later and I am already proud of not giving into the leftover junk on my counter and in my fridge. No regrets here.

I saw a guy run a red light today and almost hit a cyclist......this bothers me so much, I mean there really isn't much that upsets me more. Just slow down, we're all in a hurry but rushing isn't actually going to get us there faster trust me.

NOTE: video is sped up x2. The key here is SLOW and CONTROLLED! Looong spine. Belly button pulled towards your spine. FOCUSED MOVEMENTS! 
Bird dogs: 5 reps per side x3-4 rounds

Geesh, not getting any easier with a newborn in the house. Dinners are generally the only meal I don't pre-prep but I'm quickly realizing evenings with a baby can be complete shit-show. 😅💩
I'm finding it's way easier to carve out extra meal prep time on Sundays to get it done ahead so I don't stress every night. Ya feel me Mommas? 🙋🏻
My other go to pre-prepped snacks are smoothie packs to ensure I'm getting extra veggies and fruit in my diet. Easiest thing ever...just add protein powder & blend! 🥒🍓🌱

Think about that for just a minute, really a whole minute. Do you though? Or do you let everyone else around you run your life? Life is full of bosses, people giving you their opinions, and people telling you exactly what to do. I used to often wonder why we did that to ourselves. Why would we let anyone else control us, when it isn't their life. 
You have to be selective of what feedback you let into your life. If you aren't brave, and courageous with your life, If you don't get vulnerable then I don't want your feedback. I don't want your opinions or your thoughts. 
Being vulnerable is truly the best thing you can do for yourself. It is learning to get uncomfortable so that you can be happy. It is learning to be the best version of yourself, because nothing good happens inside of a comfort zone. 
I chose to be vulnerable, step out of my comfort zone and now I'm able to go on this amazing ✨work✨ trip because I've worked my a$$ off for it ✌🏼. Not only that, but I'm truly FREE to go, no asking a boss. EVEN BETTER I get to take my babe @bekahgraue  with me so we can have an amazing time! The best though, we get to go together and celebrate the hard work we have put in and plan together for an amazing 2018. 
Choose courage or comfort, but you can't have both at the same time. Vulnerability isn't winning or losing, it's showing up. It's not weakness, it is courage. When you stop caring what people think and stop feeling hurt by cruelty you lose your ability to connect. But when you let other people's thoughts define you, you lose your courage to be vulnerable ✌🏼. #imalwayshere

It's a Christmas miracle....all FOUR of my children tried the dinner I made tonight! ✨ You guys see me brag on my children, but let me keep it REAL...dinner time usual involves someone declaring they hate everything I make and someone else gagging the minute food he thinks he hates touches his lips! 🙄Tonight though everyone ate and either everyone liked it or everyone knew I wasn't in the mood to hear otherwise! 😉

White Bean Turkey Chili 🌶.
•2 tbsp olive oil
•4 cloves garlic minced
•1 cup yellow onion, diced
•1 tablespoon cumin
•1 pound ground turkey, browned
•1 red pepper, diced
•1 15oz can white beans.
•1 cup unsalted chicken stock divided
•1 1/2 cups corn (15 ounces canned)
•1 1/4 teaspoons kosher salt more as needed
•1/4 teaspoon black pepper
•1 Tbsp chili powder
Optional toppings: jalapeños, shredded cheese, Greek yogurt
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a large microwave safe bowl add olive oil, diced onions, red pepper, minced garlic, cumin, and chili powder. Stir to combine. Microwave for 3 minutes, stir and cook another 2 minutes until onions are tender. Add to slow cooker. Add browned turkey, corn, white beans, and chicken stock to the slow cooker. 
Add salt and pepper to slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours. Taste chili and season with more salt and pepper as needed. Serve hot and add toppings if desired! Servings 4!

Es recomendable esperar hasta que el útero haya retomado su tamaño y eso demora entre 6 a 8 semanas aprox. Post parto
Es esencial fortalecer el suelo pélvico todos los días, ya que es uno de los músculos que más se resiente tras el parto.
La condición física de cada mujer antes y durante el embarazo influira en el enfoque del plan de c/u.
Si tuviste cesárea o una episiotomia el tiempo para volver a entrenar puede alargarse hasta que el suelo pélvico este fortalecido y la faja lumboabdominal en caso de cesárea también. 
Tu Dr. es el que dará luz verde para partir, luego del examen de los 45 días.
No exigirse! nuestro cuerpo cambio durante 9 meses y demorará bastante en retomar todo orden internamente. (Sólo hay una chontell Duncan)
Si corrias lo ideal es hacerlo NO con el fin de perder peso, sino de recuperar resistencia poco a poco, tramos cortos para partir de forma intervalica camina/corre.
El levantamiento de peso tb debe ser poco a poco, recuerda q hay una guaguita que no perdonará tus músculos adoloridos.
Si hay sangrado se debe parar inmediatamente.
Hidratación es clave ! Ya que la lactancia de por sí demanda una ingesta mayor de líquido.
