The U.S. Open for freestyle wrestling is going on right now. Anyone can enter the tournament. This was a first round match that happened. The wrestler in the red has clearly seen better days 😁 wrestler in the blue is a former national finalist for Penn state. Yes the match went as expected, wrestler in blue as kindly as possible smashed wrestler in red 😏. The point of the post is....the old guy in the red knew it was highly probable to run into a mis match like this. He didnt care, he wasnt scared. He wanted to try to wrestle the best. Sure he probably knew he would lose, thats not the point. The point is that he tried, he put himself out there. He didnt let fear hold him back. Too many people fear change, fear failure, fear of being uncomfortable. One of my favorite quotes "Be comfortable, being uncomfortable." You can apply this attitude to just about anything in life. For my Grit Fitness people, use it to push yourself to try new things that you might fail at (who cares!) We always need to be trying to improve daily. Lift heavier, go faster, master a technique, learn a new one etc. With that being said....Shed & Shred II starts Monday! Get it!!

Yay! It's finally the weekend! We had a surprising day of no wind here in SoCal. 🌞 Headed to the gym this morning for #lgconfidencekini Shoulders and Glutes! 💪 I started with 20 minutes on the bike, and then hit the weights! 🏋️♀️ Moderate weight-3x15. Great workout today. After I took time to foam roll before my fascia blasting/massage this afternoon. 💆♀️ Hope you all had a great Friday!
