12 days of Christmas:.
1) 10 air squats.
2) 10 lunges (5/ea).
3) 10 push-ups.
4) 10 Bicep curls.
5) 5 broad jump to backwards bear crawl.
6) 1 100 meter run.
7) 30 jumpropes.
8) 15 leg lifts.
9) 9 burpees.
10) 10 Head banger push-ups.
11) 30 mt climbers (15/ea).
12) 12 squat jumps. .

Day 5 of our 12 Days of Fitness Challenge: Do 5 lunges (each leg)
Each day a workout will be posted at 8:00am. Each workout needs to be completed by the 12th day and a photo/video posted to Facebook or Instagram tagging us (otherwise we will not see it).
We will select one winner at random to receive $25 of in store credit. We will also give an additional $10 bonus if all exercises are completed in our facility.
The store credit may be used for any items- supplements, clothing, memberships, etc.
The credit is not redeemable for cash.

🎅🏻 #lucys12daysoffitness Day 5 🎅🏻 How often do you stretch, REALLY stretch, between workouts? 😳 It often gets abandoned - it’s hard to quantify your flexibility and SEE any rewards of it🧐 unlike say.. weight training (visual body changes, heavier lifts) 💪🏻 or cardio progress (fat loss, stamina increase) 🥇 so it mustn’t matter right? 😒 FLEXIBILITY is one of the five components of FITNESS (body composition, muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiorespiratory endurance .. and - whaddaya know - FLEXIBILITY 👀 ) It’ll help your muscles recover and strengthen, it’ll aid mobility and breathing. Most gyms will run a yoga class, or perhaps something similar like BodyBalance 🙏🏻 If not, you might find a freelance class at local community halls or churches .. EVEN BETTER, there are thousands of credible yoga/ mobility videos to find for FREE on YouTube. A good place to start is an ideal duration and a ‘problem area’ - for example this video 👆🏻 I searched ‘30 min yoga for legs and hips’ and picked a flow by @yoga_with_kassandra 💡 Make time for stretching, you won’t regret it! 🕉
You know that meme that’s like “you believed in Santa clause for ten years, you can believe in yourself for 2 seconds” ? Yah, that. Lol.
I constantly remind myself to trust the process, keep working hard when I can’t seem to see the light at the end of the tunnel, and keep believing that what I’m doing and where I’m headed is important.
So here’s to you. If you’re feeling inadequate, faced with a challenge, or straight up giving up- believe in yourself for a minute. You’re capable. You’re strong, brave, determined. You’re lionhearted strong.

One more week until Christmas!! 🎄 Today is all about Christmas shopping for us! 🎁 Slept early last night and woke up early to prep for a productive Sunday! 🙌🏼 Too many lazy Sundays the last few weekends 🙈 so we had quite a few things to knock out from our to do list! Started the day at @basecamppasadena 💪🏼and already got most of our shopping done! Who else is having a productive day?! 😛
Feeling a little under the weather, so having a nice bowl of greens from @sweetgreen after torquing out @melliecay & @rarax3 @flywheelsports charity ride ❤️ I recently went to the doctors and got 11 tubes of blood drawn out and 4 shots for testing. Think my body’s under shock and ended up catching a little bug 😷
Fun fact: in 7th grade I fainted watching a heart surgery video in class. That’s when I knew my parent’s Asian dreams of me pursuing a career as a doctor flew out the window 😅

Sometimes it's so easy to point out our weaknesses and so difficult to celebrate our strengths. You've got to stop this cycle. .
❄️️When was the last time you gave yourself some grace?! .
❄️️When was the last time you actually stopped and reflected on your life? .
❄️When was the last time you looked in the mirror and actually told yourself that you are a beautiful mess (and owned it?!) Its time to carve out 10 min of your day at least to fueling your mind with some positivity. YASsssss this matters. Remember, it's the small things you do daily that add up over time. .
We are all hard on ourselves at times. It's an unfortunate habit that most of us have, including myself. The trick is catching yourself in the moment, throw yourself a pity party for... like 15 seconds... and snap yourself out of it. I don't know about you, but it is EXHAUSTING being around people that are complainers, naysayers, and never get themselves out of the rut. You CAN change. .
You are wonderfully and beautifully made and don't you ever forget that. ❄️️💕
