SO MUCH FOOD! Such great deals though!  Sunday's are made for church and meal prep! Cooking for the entire week. Overnight oats every morning with yogurt and fruit in mason jars to go along with boiled eggs!, Shakeo superfoods, fruit cut and prepared,/ veggies cut and prepared for snacks, quinoa and rice made, kale ready for tuna salads, and then all kinds of diff flavored chicken, fish, and pork ready for dinner this week. It is going to be so awesome not having to cook this week! And we made it fun! We had music blasting, windows open and cooking together is always great bonding time 💙

PS day 21: participated in a full body body pump class and added 50 sit ups to the end as an active ‘rest day’!

Started my fitness journey May 1st 2017 and lasted until June 9th 2017 🤦🏽‍♀️. In that time however, I managed to lose 15lbs 💪🏾. Since then I have gained most back-but my first round has made me aware and conscious of what I’m putting into my body. By that I mean 🗣I did go back to eating JUNK 🤷🏽‍♀️ but I also still eat some of the healthy meals I discovered during my first round 😋. The biggest things I learned during that time is📝🗂🗃: push thru the hard times and you WILL prevail in the end. Don’t be hard on yourself because NO ONE is perfect. Treat days ARE acceptable but NEVER give up, even if you have 2...3 cheat days in a row. & Each day is a new beginning to clean eating.

I've just come back from #thegym, abd today was #legday again, but with different exercises. I love how many variations I can do to train legs. I think it's one of my favourite body parts to train! (Also where it's most obvious to me that I have transformed in the last 5 months)

Since the beginning of the new year many friends and family have reached out to me asking for the best recipe for a good body. Well, there is no secret. Working hard and regular over long stretches of time is the basic template to follow. Don't be fooled by fad diets, fancy gadgets, and detox cleanses that purport to having you lose 20lbs in 3 weeks. If it's not sustainable, then most likely it won't work in the long haul. Keep it simple. Do compound exercises 2-3x/week, sleep well, having a balanced, but whole diet, and most of all, have patience. My son and I will be conducting Boot Camp classes at my office next week. So if you're in the NY/NJ/CT area, stay tuned for details.

Eventually, my end goal on strength is to perform ATG squat and Deadlift 3 plates, belt free. Pretty happy with my form here as well, struggled a lil on the way up, just need to keep the balance and core tight even more! 
3 weeks into @davidlaid ’s Leg-Push-Pull program, honestly I’m having SO MUCH FUN! Don’t get me wrong, I kinda do miss training for Hypertrophy, but at the same time, it’s SO NICE not having to perform 3-4 sets of 12-15 reps 🙄. Man I seriously can’t wait to see how far I can go! 
Side 📝: anyone has any tips on preventing elbow, forearm pain / flaring up after a pull session? Other than stretching before hand. Mines getting real bad 😑🤕🤦🏻‍♂️ ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

Spinach and cheese sandwich , made with literally no oil / ghee/ butter .
It tastes amazing and is super , super healthy to snack on .

INGREDIENTS:-
1️⃣Spinach
2️⃣Chopped onions , capsicum 
3️⃣Cheese
4️⃣Oregano
5️⃣Pepper
6️⃣Multigrain Bread
In a bowl mix all the chopper vegetables with spinach and mashed cheese , then add a pinch of salt , oregano and pepper .
In a sandwich griller , grill the sandwich and serve it with chutney or sauce , whatever suits you .
PS: Cheese is a good source of protein and can be moderately included in your diet keeping in mind the fat content too .  For vegetarians like me cheese, cottage cheese , soya chunks are the best sources of protein .

Spinach and cheese sandwich , made with literally no oil / ghee/ butter . It tastes amazing and is super , super healthy to snack on . ___________________ INGREDIENTS:- 1️⃣Spinach 2️⃣Chopped onions , capsicum 3️⃣Cheese 4️⃣Oregano 5️⃣Pepper 6️⃣Multigrain Bread In a bowl mix all the chopper vegetables with spinach and mashed cheese , then add a pinch of salt , oregano and pepper . In a sandwich griller , grill the sandwich and serve it with chutney or sauce , whatever suits you . PS: Cheese is a good source of protein and can be moderately included in your diet keeping in mind the fat content too . Some leg work🔥 for those who don’t know what the chains are for... I’m not too sure how much they both weight but it’s not as easy as it looks in the video lol. The chains add more weight as you lift and less as you lower the weight. Chains are great for becoming explosive😈 for this lift I had 2 45lbs plates on both sides. @hamiltonfitnessacademy👈🏾

Here are my TOP 3 TIPS for ⬇️ REDUCING “MOM” STRESS:

1️⃣ Create Systems – You won’t believe how much a little organization can relieve stress.  It may seem simple but preparing for the upcoming day the night before can make all the difference.  Like I’ve already said in a previous post, Sam AND I pick his clothes out for the upcoming day, the night before.  Now, I don’t have to hear Sam whine when I pick him up from school about how he didn’t like the outfit his dad picked out for him (My husband gets Sam off to school)

2️⃣ Delegate – Anyone who has known me a long time, probably can’t even believe I’m even saying this......but it has been a game changer in my household.  Most Moms tend to think that they have to do it all and that they’re the only ones who can get the job done right.  Although this may be true, (especially at my house 😉), delegating must occur if you want to decrease your stress. -
So how do you delegate?  Identify the tasks that are priority, the ones that absolutely need to get done, and which need to be done by mom, and then DELEGATE EVERYTHING ELSE.  Ladies utilize those husbands and older children, they live in the household too!! •
3️⃣ Set Aside Personal Time – MOMS you MUST make time for self-care.  It might be something as simple as a nightly bath and a good book, or a ladies’ night.  Remember exercise, meditation, and social outings are all important and help bring balance to our busy life.

While it’s IMPOSSIBLE to eliminate all stress from life, these are 3 small steps that could make a significant difference in reducing your stress level. —————————————————

Exhausted from competition prep.. but enjoying every minute. No cheating is a mental game. Preparation is key, with the help of my coaches I have already lost weight & gained muscle. I could definitely feel my arms from yesterday's #workout this morning, which is good. You probably heard me talking about how my #upperbody is the weakest part of my body, and I think this is still the case, but it is getting stronger. -
Today I mostly did a #backworkout and some #chestexercises and let's just say, I'm sure I'm gonna feel this one too. I also did my normal 20 mins on the #treadmill at the beginning. All in all, I'm pretty happy, especially cause I didn't sleep very well last night.
