Started yesterday’s hamstrings/glutes focused session with 10x10 hip thrusts! Starting at 70kg and working my way up to 120kg and then back down again finishing on 80kg. This only shows the first 5 reps cos I couldn’t make it all fit 🤷🏾♀️ This time around I want to do a lot more if showing you guys what I do and how rather than just show you pictures lol plus I’m getting used to taking my camera about and filming myself so there’s no excuses after exams and I can produce consistent content on YouTube!
PS day 21: participated in a full body body pump class and added 50 sit ups to the end as an active ‘rest day’!
Depthhhh! 🙌🏽 getting this low was always a problem because my hips are so tight 😩 so thankful I came across the #everdaymoverschallenge by @movementbyjordan ! Lots of different drills that have helped me get a deeper squat literally within one week. I kept the weight pretty light because I was working on my depth. 115 x 10. 💪🏽 Happy Sunday y’all ♥️

I've just come back from #thegym , abd today was #legday again, but with different exercises. I love how many variations I can do to train legs. I think it's one of my favourite body parts to train! (Also where it's most obvious to me that I have transformed in the last 5 months)
I was thinking of doing a more #cardio based workout, but the gym was incredibly busy, and while I don't have awkwardness I used to have when I worked out and there were people around, not actually having where to set my mat and stepper still held me back XD -

Since the beginning of the new year many friends and family have reached out to me asking for the best recipe for a good body. Well, there is no secret. Working hard and regular over long stretches of time is the basic template to follow. Don't be fooled by fad diets, fancy gadgets, and detox cleanses that purport to having you lose 20lbs in 3 weeks. If it's not sustainable, then most likely it won't work in the long haul. Keep it simple. Do compound exercises 2-3x/week, sleep well, having a balanced, but whole diet, and most of all, have patience. My son and I will be conducting Boot Camp classes at my office next week. Some leg work🔥 for those who don’t know what the chains are for... I’m not too sure how much they both weight but it’s not as easy as it looks in the video lol. The chains add more weight as you lift and less as you lower the weight. Chains are great for becoming explosive😈 for this lift I had 2 45lbs plates on both sides. @hamiltonfitnessacademy👈🏾

Here are my TOP 3 TIPS for ⬇️ REDUCING “MOM” STRESS:
1️⃣ Create Systems – You won’t believe how much a little organization can relieve stress. It may seem simple but preparing for the upcoming day the night before can make all the difference. Like I’ve already said in a previous post, Sam AND I pick his clothes out for the upcoming day, the night before. Now, I don’t have to hear Sam whine when I pick him up from school about how he didn’t like the outfit his dad picked out for him (My husband gets Sam off to school)
2️⃣ Delegate – Anyone who has known me a long time, probably can’t even believe I’m even saying this......but it has been a game changer in my household. Most Moms tend to think that they have to do it all and that they’re the only ones who can get the job done right. Although this may be true, (especially at my house 😉), delegating must occur if you want to decrease your stress. -
So how do you delegate? Identify the tasks that are priority, the ones that absolutely need to get done, and which need to be done by mom, and then DELEGATE EVERYTHING ELSE. Ladies utilize those husbands and older children, they live in the household too!! •
3️⃣ Set Aside Personal Time – MOMS you MUST make time for self-care. It might be something as simple as a nightly bath and a good book, or a ladies’ night. Remember exercise, meditation, and social outings are all important and help bring balance to our busy life.
While it’s IMPOSSIBLE to eliminate all stress from life, these are 3 small steps that could make a significant difference in reducing your stress level. —————————————————

Happy Saturday! How are you today?
I could definitely feel my arms from yesterday's #workout this morning, which is good. You probably heard me talking about how my #upperbody is the weakest part of my body, and I think this is still the case, but it is getting stronger. -
Today I mostly did a #backworkout and some #chestexercises and let's just say, I'm sure I'm gonna feel this one too. I also did my normal 20 mins on the #treadmill at the beginning. All in all, I'm pretty happy, especially cause I didn't sleep very well last night.
