Every time you step into battle you are faced with the thoughts of failure or success. It doesn't matter how much training or practice you have had leading up to the fight. One thing remains clear, you can only prepare yourself for the mental stability to remain vigilant throughout. Win, lose, or draw, you must always remember the bigger picture. Don't give up just because of a lost battle, or failed attempt to win. Losing reminds you that there is still work left to be done. There is still carving to take place. Still blocks to be put in certain spots do you construct a complete foundation. Being able to walk away from the battle means you didn't die. It means you didn't give up. It means you weren't defeated. It means you lived to fight another day. You may be down, but you're not out. You're not done. Everything has its time and place to occur. Don't rush the process, and trust where it leads you. Remember, walking with your eyes closed is not always a bad thing. Many people have said to keep your eye on the prize and never look away. truth is, if you train with your eyes closed and focus on the real reason why you started, when the fight is initiated and the prize is out of sight, you can still since your destiny without ever seeing it. Know who you are and never deviate. Your place in life is set in stone, uncover it. Dust it off, shine it up, and present it to the world. Don't be afraid to fail. Four failures make you stronger, harder, and a little more dangerous. So, when you're faced with having to keep moving forward or quitting, pick your ass up, shake it off, and do it all over again. One more step, one more push, one more fight. You may lose the battle, but the war has only just begun!

The late Paul DeMayo ifbb Pro.
Paul DeMayo coming from Boston Massachusetts. Passed away June 2nd 2005 of an apparent drug overdose. Paul dimaio his name is associated with the drug nubain. Nubain was used widely for just about every purpose from diet to pain. People use it for a bad moods I mean you name it and it was used. Most bodybuilders are a lot of bodybuilders didn't quite understand nubain or even understand what it would do until they discontinued it. Once they discontinued it people say what they had eventually within a couple years it was all dried up. I remember when this happened I remembered bodybuilders freaking out people looking everywhere is a very very expensive and hard item to get. Paul DeMeo the original Boston Mass yes before Jose Raymond. LOL also known as Quadzilla. Was what I would call an NPC Legend. There were a few guys that came up in that time like Craig Titus, Tom Prince, Paul dimaio just to name a few Mike Matarazzo. These guys moved out to Venice as amateurs. They graced hundreds of covers of magazines and Mason made most money than most of the pros at that time. They also had a very hard time switching over to the pro ranks. In any case most people forgot about him don't think about him don't see him on social media. All the Mayo definitely deserves a page on my page. If you look up classic physique or classic men's bodybuilding you should see a picture of Paul DeMayo. Most people don't know this but at the junior Nationals I'm not sure if it was 92 or 91? Paul dimaio won his weight class as well as in the light heavy so I believe Kevin levrone. Paul De Mayo beat Kevin levrone in the overall. This is when this Photograph was taken I believe the junior Nationals. Imagine that he was an amateur. Looks better than most of the pros today as far as condition in Balance. This post made my day, is I had to repost it.I have saud this for over two decades it is great to see the shift. More people are challenging the idea that being who we are is bad. We are all like pieces of art created by different artists and we all have beauty. We just need to learn to accentuate and embrace it. Thank you for this great post.
90% of the photos you see on Instagram, that you compare yourself to are posed, photoshopped versions of people's lives. The left is a photo of me clearly doing an 'instagram' popular pose to make my butt look better. On the right is real life - what happens when I squeeze my bum. OMG CELLULITE - guess what ladies we all have it. Even fit chicks who workout all the time - it's completely normal. .
So please - embrace your body for everything that it is flaws and all. I promise that you will be SOOOOOOO much happier when you do. -
It's not how we make mistakes, but how we correct them that defines us

“There comes a certain point in life when you have to stop blaming other people for how you feel or the misfortunes in your life. You can’t go through life obsessing about what might have been.” 💪🏼💪🏼🙌🙃👊🏻 get that cardio in!!!
