Excellent post by @roydianchan demonstrating the dumbbell bench press. I was definitely guilty of doing the bottom one when I started lifting. I used to feel this exercise more in my shoulders than in my chest and didn’t know why 🙈. The top one puts your shoulders in a safer pressing position and allows you to use your chest more effectively.

I lost count after my 3rd time of re starting the #BBG program. 😬. I’m gonna go with this is my 6th time starting it 🙈. But the point is, I am NOT giving up. I know I won’t be where I want to be by our vacation date. But I’m trying, and I won’t give up. And as long as you keep trying. That’s something to be proud of. .
If you are struggling like me, don’t give up! Keep pushing forward. It will get easier.
I was asked to do this by a few people. & until right now, I had no idea if it even look that different 🤷🏼♀️. To me, doing a transformation post didn’t occur to me at all. So I went back to my SnapChat, my photos on my phone & found one image. Which I saw was dated to 3 months ago 😎. Almost to the day. I rummaged through all my clothes to find the exact hoody & tights & here we are. A pants size down, 2 dress sizes down & a whole lot healthier me 🙏🏻. It didn’t take a fad diet, it didn’t take 18 hours in the gym every week. It took me making conscious decisions, failing at something but always trying again the next day. It took me living & loving myself enough to want to be healthier, not skinnier. Losing weight & centimetres are just a bonus at the end of a health journey 🌻. Health first, sis, always. This is where my journey seriously began in 2014. I decided to do my very first show after dropping 15 pounds on my own. As you can see I had no clue how to pose 😂 because YouTube was the only posing class I had at the time. Everybody thought I was diluginal but me being stubborn by nature had to fulfill the promise I made to myself. I took my time, was in no hurry nor was I competing with anyone. The only satisfaction I get from this sport is beating my conditioning at every single show. 2018, I’m excited and ready to take on all that you may bring. #motivation#inspired
