This year has still been exciting even with over 30 years plus in education! 🙌I was very excited to see the kids as I continue my career in education! It is something I wanted to do. I have taught elementary PE for many years now.
So why then do I have this second job as anhealth and fitness coach? Well, for many reasons!
One reason is it helps with accountability with my own health. This helped me restore my health, after being a bone marrow transplant donor for my brother.
One other reason is I enjoy helping others (teachers and nurses are helping individuals and make great coaches)! I love when my clients send me their before and after pics, lab work and share their progress. I regularly get thank you messages and that makes my day!
I love being a Family Nutrition Advisory helping Moms and Dads get healthier. When Moms have good nutrition and move more the entire family gets on the bandwagon to some extent.
I love having my own business. Something my decreased father always encouraged me to do since I work so hard. He always said you should have something of your own since you put so much into it.
It is hard to belief the number of people I have helped and the friends I have made in the past 3 years as a Family Nutrition Advisor! It is so rewarding and this has blessed me so much!
Of course; it is nice to get that paycheck each week. I love that my own investment in my workouts and daily nutritious shake is paid for and then some!
This month so far I was able to cover the flowers for my aunts funeral, the utility bill at Nicks apartment, and pay cash for our new washing machine with my paycheck. I also paid for my trip to California last month with my coaching income.
