AT LAST IM BACK DOING WHAT I LOVE❤️❤️❤️and no better way to start back than a leg session with the best @paulmorgan007 😍😍I had to take the last week off due to a niggle and to be honest it was one of the toughest weeks I have had in a very long time and there were a few times I just felt a bit disheartened😭 While obviously I train to grow physically, to improve body composition, and for aesthetics, the gym is my outlet and my coping mechanism for dealing with stress and anxiety🤗 It’s my happy place where I can forget about everything else that’s going on for an hour or two and just focus on having some me time and having fun🏋🏻♀️💃🏼This week having to take the week off made me realize just how significant a role training plays in the maintenance of a happy, positive and healthy mental attitude for me and especially with being in the middle of exams at the moment my main means of destressing was taken away which I found really difficult. Some people will say it’s an addiction and who knows it probably is but I couldn’t give a sh*t what other people think because it’s a healthy obsession, it’s my passion and it sets my soul on fire🔥 Do whatever makes you happy and keeps you mentally well because people are going to judge you no matter what you do but the minute you stop caring about what other people are saying and thinking about you and the decisions you make is the moment you free yourself from other peoples expectations and focus on what you set out to achieve in life be that in regards to training goals or any other life related goals you have🙌🏻This is a lifestyle for me and I realized there are going to be bumps along the road but I think the most important thing to acknowledge is that our reaction to these determines how we will deal with and overcome these obstacles. Everytime you get knocked down pick yourself back up and treat it as a positive as you learn something from every obstacle that will help you on the path to achieving what you set out to achieve. These challenges along the way are what makes the end result so fulfilling and worthwhile 💕😄🙈
Hockey and the gym are keeping me sane these days. I've been channelling my heartbreak into getting fitter, improving my strength and losing some weight. Results are coming but I've a long way to go yet. I'm definitely starting to feel the benefits of all my hardwork out on the pitch but my heart has a tougher journey to travel. I will get there.
No matter what life throws at you, keep going. Cry when you need to cry, laugh and smile when you can and know that one day, some day, things will be that little bit easier to bare.
Shout out to @tkhockeyuk for my sponsorship this season.

Another great performance from the @brayhockeyclub Ladies 3rds today. A scrappy first half but a superb second half and a 4-0 win over @avocahc keep the Ladies in the mix for the league title. 34 goals scored in 9 league matches and just 2 conceeded. I'm one very proud and happy coach. 💙💙💙
A great 4-0 win for the Ladies 3rds against @avocahc today. A brace for Michelle Lambert and one a piece for Ali Kavanagh and Caroline Kennedy. Big shout out to the girls from the 4ths for stepping up and helping out.
My hockey coach told me I need to work on my mobility and pace, so that's what I'm doing!!
Started with @lesmillsuk Body Pump class, then did 30 minutes agility work on the ladder with short sprints, followed by 20 lengths in the pool.
Great start to the weekend!
Best foot forward for the first gym visit since before Christmas. Only 3.5km, but happy just to get a sweat on and to start shifting the Christmas kilos.
Also, there is no better gym song than Miami2Ibiza. Fact.
Great start to 2018 with a 2-1 win for @brayhockeyclub 1sts in the 1st round of the Jacqui Potter Cup today. Came back from 0-1 down against Monkstown to take the win and an assist from myself on the cards also. Double header next weekend as we play UCD in the 2nd round and meet Monkstown again for a league refix. Shout out to @tkhockeyuk for the support and sponsorship this season!
Pre prepped home made V Mc Donalds. Swipe ➡ Mc D's is 4 times the fat, double the carbs, half the protein and so much less tasty! These chicken burgers are so easy to make and store/freeze so it's just as convenient.
Today's work out went a little differently 😂❤🖒 #momlife ➡ swipe . . Yes I hit her in the head with a dumbbell 🙈 but the vid is sped up, my movements were slow so she was fine. Control your movements = save a child's life 🖒😉👊
Worked in the clinic then worked out in the gym.
I'm really enjoying the @lesmillstribe classes @westwoodclub recently. I just sorry I haven't been going to them sooner.
Today I did the Body Pump class, took to the bike for 15 minutes and then did my first ever Pilates class. My arms, legs and core are burning but it feels great.
I'm trying to let go of a broken heart and find a happier me. Exercise and sport really help take my mind off things and give me something positive to focus on.
One. Day. At. A. Time.
I reached my goal of getting down to 13 stone back in October I aimed for this month to reach that but I still went ahead and weighed myself this month, the picture on the top is me from yesterday and the picture on the bottom is from a few minutes ago when I weighed myself again I'm now down to 80.0 kg (12 stone) and I can alreadly notice some large t-shirts and shirts kinda swimming on me when I wear them, so altogether I've dropped 4 stone since last December what a way to go into the new year, absolutely chuffed. 🖒 #WeightLossPicture#TransformationPicture#Gym#Cardio#HealthyEating#CleanEating#Fitness#FitnessIreland#FitFam#FitFamIreland
