Proceeded to work at the sticking point following with 2 doubled up red minis on each side and a 45 for half reps. Middle to top with a 2 second pause. 3x5
Continue to work. Fail. Succeed. Repeat
Another great Sunday in the books! Posing, check-in with the coach @musclemaxtrainer, and some serious glute and hammy work! So excited to be off of work for a few days but I will still be on that grind! And in a few weeks, I will be heading to Times Square New York to celebrate an extended weekend with hubs for our 15 year anniversary! Following that is my prep for show time! I've been pushing myself harder than I ever have and have so much to look forward to that this journey has become a lifestyle. I focused on weight loss for a solid year and put in some consistent hard work until six months ago I wanted to shoot high for bigger goals. I initially thought it would be a fast process after I had lost my weight and leaned out but I quickly discovered that I needed to be patient to get there! Don't focus on the finish line! Make every day count as if it were the end goal. I have found every bit of this to be in my favor and have done some great things throughout this process! Be proud! Of every step! It's coming together and I'm so ready to bring my hard work to the center of this journey! I will be balancing life and holidays and celebrations in between with careful planning and huge support. I hope everyone takes a path that's true to their hearts and towards their goals! Happy Thanksgiving and I hope you have a lot to be thankful for! I certainly do! And I'm thankful for all the motivation shared! 🙌🏋️💪✌️

If you're on target, eating just tilapia and asparagus or broccoli is kinda depressing. I prefer a #cheatmeal with baked brie and pears, steak frites and profiteroles with warm chocolate sauce two weeks out from a show. Know your body.
One of my favorite shoulder presses. Barbell low alternating presses. I supersetted this with uprights but here’s how you do this. Make sure barbell is stabilized no lower than 90 degree bend of the elbow. Here I did a 5 to 5 alternating sides and completed it with your normal press. Try it out and DONT FORGET TO USE THE CLIPS LOL!
Tight QL, scoliosis, degenerating cartilage in rt knee, tight hips, I can throw all my mechanical issues out there but I refuse to let them be my excuses. Grinding to always to perfect my lifts to the best of my ability keeping my tempos and form in mind. For what it’s worth I’m proud that I was able to lift this much with a form that’s perfect for me and not putting my body at risk. Took a total of 10 sets to work up to 275. #squat4jesus They 18’s but I keep them clean!

Probably had the best lifting today in a long long time. 405 came up the easiest it has in probably 6 months, the goal was for a double, but my weak ass came down to hard and forced my upper body forward. Next time. •
