20 Rep Squat Cycle 💪🏼

The benefits of this cycle go far beyond breaking a plateau, it will add muscle therefore increasing your basal metabolic rate to help you lose body fat (another topic altogether), increase cardiovascular ability, and they make you 👩‍🌾 farmer 👨‍🌾 strong! Trust me doing 20 reps with a heavy barbell on your back will stimulate your lungs, and a host of other benefits.

Every time that my squat was at a stand still I have been able to break some barriers with a 20 rep squat routine. If you are stuck and are in need of a plan to break through then this might work for you! 👈

Bonus! 20 rep squats can also be easier on the joints because you are forced to go lighter than if you were to load up the weight doing sets of 1-3 repetitions. 😃

There are a few different versions of the program, but I have found some success with this version ⬇️
•
Week 1 3x20 reps use the same weight for all sets; rest 4 minutes b/t
•
Week 2 3x20 reps add 10lbs from last week; rest 4 minutes b/t
•
Week 3 3x20 reps add 10lbs from last week; rest 4 minutes b/t
•
Week 4 3x20 reps add 10lbs from last week; rest 4 minutes b/t
•
Week 5 3x20 reps add 10lbs from last week; rest 4 minutes b/t
•

Flexion, Flexion, Flexion....In this quick clip I'm riding Gunner, he is one of our 2 yr olds that has only a few hours of my time with him. You might look at this video and and think - Hey, not much going on here; what's he really doing? Well, I'll tell you - I'm trying to get the horse looking for what I'm after and in this case it's lateral flexion. Flexion is the horse bending his neck laterally and at the pole. It is something that is very important for us to have an understanding of if we aim to have our horses balanced while we are around them. For this exercise it is important to remember that all horses are sensitive and it doesn't take much to get a reaction out of your horse. With that thought in mind start with as little resistance on the rein as possible and wait for your horse to search for what you are looking for and then release. Remember, if you do too much you will influence your horses feet (by moving them) and not get the flexion you are looking for. Also, the horse will most likely brace first instead of searching for what you're asking and turning loose. So, in this instance less is more and do as little as necessary to get a change...... ¡Prueba las dominadas
con lastre!

En lenguaje deportivo se denomina “dominada” a la flexión de brazos, en suspensión, colgado de una barra, escalera, o lugar donde sujetarse con las manos.

Lo ideal es un cinturón para fondos lastrado con una pesa; si no lo tienes, puedes limitarte a sostener una mancuerna entre los pies. Cuélgate de la barra pasando las manos por debajo, en agarre supino, algo más próximas entre sí que la anchura de los hombros, y levanta los pies del suelo.

La dominada el ejercicio más potente para desarrollar la musculatura del dorsal ancho, y aporta más beneficios musculares que los jalones con polea alta.  Ambos ejercicios son parecidos en cuanto al movimiento, pero la dominada está trabajando con el peso del cuerpo, con lo que el trabajo muscular es mayor.

Estos ejercicios, en los que el cuerpo se desplaza respecto a un punto fijo, se consideran de cadena cerrada. Sin embargo, los jalones con polea serían movimientos en cadena abierta, pues una carga externa se desplaza respecto al cuerpo, que se mantiene fijo en todo momento

A R T I C U L A T I O N // Pilates places a large focus on the spine during movement. When the spine is stiff it is old; we endeavour to mobilise all parts of the spine in flexion, extension and rotation (folding forward, bending backwards and twisting) to keep the spine healthy. Articulating the spine in these directions can take time, however this time and precision to maximise mobility will bring much needed relief!

The calves (gastrocnemius & soleus) hold SO much tension due to the high amounts of volume they accumulate from day to day activities: standing, walking, running with continual #flexion & #extension .
If your calves are bogged down and stuck together, you are both restricted in your ankle mobility and inhibited when applying force 🙅🏻‍♂️

I will hit a good yogi, mob flow, or get into the nitty gritty of mysofacia release to help my body recover and get ready for the week. .

Here,  Im working on my spinal flexion and limiting extension and releasing muscle tension in this area. Im not perfect, I have a  tendency to go into extension from time to time. Noticed that I've placed my legs into a Figure 4 stretch position.

Why would I need to do this? .
.
Im securing my pelvis-limiting movement from the low back/lumbar area. 
So my body doesnt cheat (compensate)as I work through the movement. I'm guiding my body to move in the pattern/path as it should. More can be added this to release low back tightness.

Just moving is not enough.  Focus on moving well. Developing better moving patterns.  Teach the body to move well, to stay efficient. Keep in mind, pain (during and after a workout) is a warning sign not a goal. .

목적: 문제를 해결하고 디자인해서  적용해준다.  통합적인 기법을 통해 인체의  저항성을 길러주는게 교정운동의  목적이다. *상지 하지에 대한 #Flexion / #Extension 을 이해하라
*이마면 (Frontal plane) 회전 ,오른쪽,왼쪽
*관상축 (Coronal axis) 옆으로 굽힘 벌림,모음
*시상면 (Sagittal plane) 굴곡,폄
*모든 문제는 움직임에서 온다. (업침) Pronation (덮침) Supinnation
증상으로 인해 *#허리통증은 고관절에서 주로 발생하게 된다 (천장관절)
*덮침증상이 심한 고객은 주로 오다리  증상고객이 많이  가지고 있는데 발바닥 보다는 (비골근과 장경인대)  유심히 보아야 한다 *기전을 찾아내어 억제시키고 신장 시켜주어야 한다 *스트레칭으로 기전을 찾아 풀어주는데 한계가 있는  가장 큰 이유는 근육의 장력이 심해졌기 때문이고 신경계의 변형이 장기간 왔기 때문에 억제와 신장의 단계로 진행 해 주어야 한다. *저항이 심하고 상태가 안 좋은 고객은 30초  상태가 조금 나은 고객은 60초~90초로  근막이완을 진행 해 준다.

#교정운동 진행 시 *등장성*  동시에 진행해야 *등척성* *등속성*  효과적이다 *지렛대의 원리를 배우는 가장 큰 이유는
 인간은 태어나면서 부터 근육을 쓰지 않으면
 근육은 퇴화한다 *인간의 근손실은 1년에 2%씩 감소하며
 근손실의 경우 노화시 치매로 진행될 확률이
 높아지고 있다 * 뒷사선 보조 시스템*  요방형근과 중둔근이 약해지면 허리통증과  무릎이 약해질수 있다.  광배근과 대둔근을 강화 시켜주어야 한다. *앞사선 보조 시스템*

고관절의 내측과 외복사근을 관장하며
골반의 안정화 및 돌림을 도와주며
엉덩관절의 안정화를 도와준다. *도수근력 단계별 평가*  5 완벽  4 보통  3 중력 반대방향으로 움직임가능  2 중력 방향으로 움직임가능  1 미세한수축
