Really can't put into words how amazing today was! I took my first solo flight, made 3 takeoffs and landings, and had my "shirttail" cut. Thank you to everyone involved, especially @pilottrainingnw and @andrewberrey for helping me with such an incredible opportunity! ❤️
Teachers' greatest satisfaction is when their students do amazing things. Soraya and Lex have been recognized as true ambassadors in aviation and I'm blessed to have them in our program. #ocboardofsupervisors @johnwayneair

On my drive to the airport this morning, I stopped by to get some gas when the gas attendant (I live in Jersey, I get my gas pumped lol) told me to "have a safe and magically successful day!" Took 3 seconds to say, but it meant a lot to me especially for my day today. I'm headed to Albany, NY for a training flight (even with the 379463648462 TFRs in NY right now and Lord knows I do need some magic for today's mission ✨
PS don't worry! I haven't done my preflight yet, so that pitot cover is definitely coming off. Lol. Hope everyone has a safe and magically successful today, too! 🤗

"Live your life like it is the last day of your life. It is in your heart, whether you want to be the best or want to live a mediocre life. I have failed so many times but you need to fail before you get where you are.” These words by @airasia CEO are definitely something to live by. 〰
