This is perhaps natural Florida at it's finest! We're on the move again and have picked up our 12-year-old niece for a 5-state road trip. First stop: a little summertime fun floating down the clear waters of Itchetucknee Springs. It's gonna be a fun filled week ahead as we share our love for travel with our niece.
Sun protection. Sun protection. Sun protection. We know – broken record, but it’s SO important! Many of our clients come to us wanting to remove sun spots that are discolorations due to overexposure to the sun, often on arms, shoulders, lower legs, forehead and face. They are the results of excess melanin production or skin pigment – and luckily we have multiple options for treatment. One option is through skincare products, like @skinmedica Lytera Skin Brightening Serum, intended to even out skin discoloration over time. Another option is our Pigmented Lesions laser treatment, and depending on the area, some stubborn spots (like on the legs) can also be treated with Nitrus Oxide, or NO2. In this case, unsightly flaws are removed through a localized frostbite approach, fading age spots by freezing them with a liquid nitrogen solution, causing the darkened skin to peel away from the body. This "damage" to the skin cells results in redness and sometimes blistering of the treated area. When the sore heals, the original skin lesion is no longer present, now replaced with new skin. Today this beautiful client received NO2 treatment for sun spots and we can’t wait to see her results! Interested in treating your sun spots, too? Give us a call, we’ll walk you through it!
@MattieKellyArtsFoundation is ending their 2017 summer lineup of Concerts in the Village with a bang tonight, and we're excited to celebrate with them at their finale. Closing out their concert series are Walter Wolfman Washington and the Road Masters, a New Orleans-based rhythm and blues band from 7:00-9:00 PM. Can't wait to see you all there.
