When travelling I usually work from cafés. The perks? Good coffee and good food 😁 This delicious pumpkin and feta salad for example fuelled me for a full day of work. If anyone had told me during my 1st week that I would have made it this far I would have called B*S*

It's not been easy, but it's absolutely possible. Wherever you are on your own low FODMAP journey I encourage you to keep going.

My challenge/reintroduction phase begins in 6 days... Wish me luck.

The famous Australian bakery "Bakers Delight" launched its first Low FODMAP certified bread loaf a few months ago, which caused some serious internet buzz. 
The freshly-baked loaf was an amazing achievement towards our Low FODMAP awareness efforts. 
Its launch was followed by an advertisement campaign, which helped to put the lo-fo diet in the spotlight. 
In the past few weeks, the internet is buzzing again – this time with rumors (and actual evidence), that Bakers Delight is set to launch a second lo-fo product: a bun.

I didn't eat much of the chicken though and I left the bread sticks. So I mostly had: salad 😄 was good though. A nice change 😆 By the way to all Melbournians: I love your city. The diversity is great and the architect is amazing. Wow. And the food... and I haven't even tried any of the low fodmap places yet. Which one would you recommend the most?

Return of the weird (but delicious) seasoning that turns everything bright orange 😂 simple chicken with mixed veggies and rice for prep this week! Day 1!
For my first post I thought I would share a little bit about myself and my journey to the creation of this Instagram account. 
I have suffered from IBS for many years. I find it difficult to pinpoint a particular time in which my symptoms began as I can’t think of a time I haven’t been struggling with IB. I do however know that the symptoms I experience every day gradually became worse in my late teens. 
If you’ve ever read into IB you will be aware that it can affect people at any age, but most commonly people in their teens through to their 40s. In addition, about twice as many women suffer from the condition compared to men.  The condition also seems to run in families. Unfortunately for me, I fit into every category mentioned above. 
IB can be really debilitating and I have had periods in my life where the fear of the symptoms flaring up has left me reluctant to leave the house. 
Today I have decided enough is enough. I’m determined to control the condition and not let it control me. 
On this account I aim to share recipes and IB tips for fellow sufferers. I do not claim to be an expert about IB and I am still learning lots about the condition. Please follow me on my journey to a healthy gut.

I'm back on track this week and I already feel better knowing these are ready to go in my fridge for my two late nights at work. ♦️RECIPE: Pumpkin Protein Pancakes ♦️
#
♦️Ingredients ♦️
-1-2 scoops protein powder
-1/2 cup pumpkin
-1/2 tsp cinnamon
-1/2 tsp baking powder
-2 egg whites
-1/2 cup oats or oat flour
-1/2 cup + 2 tbsp water
-OPTIONAL: Stevia or other sweetener of choice

♦️Directions ♦️
-Mix pumpkin, eggs, and sweetener in one bowl
-Mix protein powder and the rest of the dry ingredients, including spices, in another bowl
-Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well
-On medium heat, grease a small pan and drop about a 1/2 cup of the batter on the pan. Cook like regular pancakes!
-Top with cinnamon or sugar free maple syrup (that's my choice!) #

I like the relaxed atmosphere at pubs. To drink as well as to eat. And this is what I usually get: fish & chips. If possible I get the fish just grilled, not battered, like this one. With some lemon. Yummy 😋 How about you? Can you tolerate normal fish & chips as well? Or what do you usually eat at pubs?
