A few nights ago I made a fantastic marinade for some cod. The recipe (http://www.theseasonedmom.com/garlic-herb-salmon-marinade/) by @theseasonedmom called for salmon but cod is what I had and it was still delightful! Used my fresh basil and rosemary from the patio garden, @pompeian olive oil, some North Carolina honey, and other great ingredients! I put the fish and fresh green beans in foil and poured on the marinade and baked, it was so delicious! #cookingwithcelena#patiogarden#delicious#basil#rosemary#fish#cod
I don't know about you, but I'm ready for summer - sand volleyball, bonfires, gardening and grilling!
Although the weather might not be there yet, I'm going to start grilling season this week.
I'll be putting together some easy recipes in my free "easy grilling" group.
Shoot me a message if you want in!
Everyone goes through food phases, right? Where you eat the same thing over and over again and you don't even care and want more... that's me and shrimp right now 🍤Last night's dinner were these gorgeous seafood bake foil packets with flounder, shrimp, thiiiiinly sliced potatoes, lemon, butter, and dill. 🥔Layer all your ingredients, starting with the potatoes. Crimp your foil shut. Bake at 400 F for 25-30 mins and when you open up the foil packet--voila!--flaky fish and perfectly cooked shrimp. Remember, they should be in a C-shape, not an O 😁
