Vegan bowls from @sushicoup for Romy and I while Dad's in NYC for work 💁Edamame, split peas, peppers, cucumber, carrots, almonds, kale, sushi rice, housemade edamame hummus (which is AMAZING) and spicy vegan mayo on the side for me. Now to wait for Romy to nap before eating more than a finger swipe of life-changing hummus ✨🍚🥗🥒🥕🍣✨
Romy's first waffles and of course, she loved them. @kingarthurflour's whole wheat waffles (made with their sprouted wheat flour) are incredibly delicious! And I've been meaning to tell you that @gir kindly sent me their ultimate ladle a year ago (😳!!) and I loooove it. No more banging around the corners of a pot with a metal ladle and leaving behind the goods. It's flexible and gets the last of your soup or the last of your precious waffle batter. ✨🥞🥓🥄☕️✨
Making a dutch baby and we're low on fruit, but still want to impress Romy 💁 These caramelized bananas were really simple to make. Swirl butter in the pan, dip banana slices in a little coconut sugar with a dash of cinnamon, cook until golden and flip ✨🍌🍌🍌✨

Now that I have a spare 10 minutes in the morning, I can actually make smoothie bowls again! This morning I whizzed some Ontario wild blueberries, tahini, ginger, @manitobaharvest hemp, flax, @bulletproof mct oil and @e3liveaustralia Blue Majik into my bowl and topped it with some fresh figs, blueberries and coconut!
Since this bowl has both wild blueberries AND blue majik, I'm basically expecting the double-antioxidant power of these superfoods to scavenge every free radical in my body 😂. In all seriousness though, this bowl is packed with antioxidants, anthocyanins, resveratrol, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, and mangenese! By eating this, I am supporting healthy aging (you're welcome, future Allie), cardiovascular and brain health (name of the game)!
