Grateful for no mixed messages @lardopdx and this wall pretty much sums up my weekend including not an ounce of “working out,” .... while I don’t encourage overeating sometimes I still overdo it or utilize some emotional eating therapy I feel no guilt or self loathing which is also something to be grateful for ..... it may look like from my feed that I just pig out all the time but I truly don’t I eat one main meal once a day and that’s usually not what you see in the photos and many times I have a pal or husband in tow especially on the weekends that’s what works for me because I like to eat and I like to have a nice big satisfying portion and a lot of times of foods that aren’t considered “healthy” I’m not perfect or obsessed with trying to be any more and while I could definitely be eating more nutrient dense foods more often, the current situation of not depriving or eliminating certain foods is only what works for me and is so much better than the years I spent in hell and at war with my body ugh makes me want to cry even thinking about my poor lost self as a young woman.... now pardon moi for another episode of #thecrown on the couch and eating #pizzajerk#leftovers#bodylove to you all!

The annual Enderwick gingerbread bake is done and dusted. I wish I could show you what 150 iced cookies look like in glorious formation, but I’m exhausted and need to sit down with a cup of tea while I rest my piping hand. I hope everyone is enjoying the delicious lead up to Christmas. 🍪
Matcha Cheese Tart
Liked this better than the regular cheese tart 😋 the red bean is always a great pairing with matcha. The mochi that was also inside was nice and soft but still chewy. Really made the tart more interesting!

This girl learned how to make marshmallows, 💁♀️ and I’ve got few tips for you if you ever decide to give it a go:
1. They were easier to make than I expected. #nothermometerneeded
2. They were as messy to make as I expected.
3. Be sure to read the recipe for the correct amount of salt. 🤦♀️
4. Be patient and wait for the marshmallows to completely set, otherwise you’ll be covered in marshmallow fluff. #ilearnedthehardway .
5. You have to sprinkle powdered sugar on every surface so that they don’t stick to everything they touch. (See: #2 )
But, in the end you’ll have marshmallows! I’m gonna keep playing around with the ingredients until I get a flavor I love.
