@emilycrisps makes the perfect picnic snack! It's definitely got that healthy concept going, it's very light, had a healthy green colour and it's very crispy. Personally, I didn't like the green beans very much because it tasted as if it had been drizzled with a coating of sugar. What do you think?

I've really been loving this summer and all of its bounty, but after the past few days of feeling like I'm in an armpit when outside, and pretty much just scurrying from one air conditioned interior to another, I can't help but look forward to Brussels sprout season...

I had the most wonderful and also very much needed day off today and was able to spend time with my family and new pup! I ended the day with a simple and delicious dessert sweet potato topped with these beautiful figs! I topped my sweet potato with almond butter, cinnamon, fresh figs, chocolate chips and chia seeds to create a healthy, Real foods dessert. A wet and gloomy start to the week failed to deter our little food expedition. Came for the popular Portuguese tart but the dim sum more than held its own, e.g. the Char Siew Sou and Chee Cheong Fun with an atypical fried egg filling. A revisit's on the cards 😋
