A tropical sanctuary in Sydney's inner west - just as well I'm still in contact with some of my former customers from Orange Grove Market. Jan used to bring me banana leaves from her backyard back when I was running my Saturday stall; I needed some for this Sunday's Cabramatta Moon Festival cooking demos, so she sent her son Charlie up the ladder to cut them down for me :D
Drooling over this dinner I had a couple nights back 😋I love carrots from the farmers market because they always have the leaves still attached! Roasted up the carrots and then made pesto with the leaves and tossed it with zucchini noodles and tomatoes from my garden. You can find the recipe for carrot top pesto plus other ways to use carrot tops. Just click the 🔗 in my bio 🥕

What a great day to sit by the pool and enjoy a nice cool punch || Happy National Punch Day!! I am not ready for summer to be over || After today's day, it's quite refreshing to sit back and enjoy this weather and the pool #nationalpunchday#fruitpunch#poolside#summervibes
Today was the first time I cooked and tried Taba ng Talangka, the salted fat from tiny river crabs that I then sautéed with tomatoes, onions, garlic, and a bird’s eye pepper. Of its many uses, it’ll be served more as a condiment to go with the fish.

Tasting the newly launched menu at @kasa_moto tonight. Particularly enjoyed the cod with sweet potato and pumpkin purée and rock shrimp tempura. You can give me a bowl full of those. 😉 Full review coming soon. Check out the blog in the meantime and let me know what you think. Bisous. xo 😘
