SWEET POTATOES! The perfect little late night snack when you’ve already finished dinner, a cup of coffee, and a half pint of ice cream… 😅They fill ya right up and are super healthy.
What we used — • Sweet potatoes 🍠
• Coconut oil 🌴
• Cinnamon 🌰
• Sugar (just a dash) 🍭
Cut up your sweet potatoes into slices or cubes, coat with a thin layer of oil and sprinkle on the spices. Chuck them into the oven for 30 minutes at 450 degrees Fahrenheit and you’re good to go! ⏲
Great food is, um, great. But that's not enough anymore. You have to hit the mark on the whole customer experience to succeed. Yep, that's what you want to sell.
BTW - Steak medallions, spinach, sundries and pasta with Alfredo. Fantastic!
Traded the instant versions for the real stuff. This was our first time back to the Hanabi on Anderson since they changed their menu. There are better ramen shops in Austin but this will do the trick if you need the noodles and are in the neighborhood. Pictured is the spicy seafood and the spicy chashu.
Anasazi beans with bay leaves, Laurus nobilis. The bay leaf helps to neutralize the tootiness of the beans. 1 cup beans 5 cups water 💦 1.5 teaspoon salt Soak overnight or at least 8 hours. Then drain and add bay leaves and 5 more cups of water and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Preheat oven@to 325 F. Bring to boil in Dutch oven. Boil for 10 minutes. Transfer Dutch oven to the oven and bake for 1 hour. After 1 hour check the beans for doneness.
