I then recommend you switch nuts for a portion of the following low glycemic/low fructose fruits:
apricot
avocado
blackberries

More than often enough, when we test first time clients for food sensitivities we find that they have antibodies to the food they have consumed on a daily for years. 
That is even more true in bodybuilders. 
It is not uncommon to see them have allergies to beef, eggs, whey, casein, tuna and oatmeal, the basic bodybuilding staples. 
This is why I strongly encourage you to rotate the meats you consume on the daily.
To prevent any food intolerance to develop from repeated exposure.
Nuts should be varied too. 🤔What about eggs? 
That is one the most often asked question. 
Eggs is one the most common food intolerances! 
Also they are digested too rapidly to sustain blood sugar for the first meal of the day. 
If tolerant to them, I like them for the solid meal workout that follows the post-workout shake.

An extreme in anything will eventually backfire on you.

Extreme dieting.
Extreme workouts and phrases like “team no days off.”
Extreme grinding and working 16 hours days.
Extreme partying (funny how this is usually the only one people give a negative connotation to)
And extreme perfectionism in any craft.
•
At one point, your body basically (and usually without much warning) goes into fight or flight mode and this is where the breakdown occurs. I know this all too well, as I too am a recovering extremist. •
If you're in tune with your body and take this as a warning and pivot, you can usually bounce back fairly quickly, given you don't keep the extreme. Getting really honest with yourself, and slowing the hell down and listening to your intuition. 
But for most in our culture, grinding, hustling, the “how bad do you want it” mindset is killing people. I've seen it in my coaching and I see it all over social media being used as some token of honor, an invisible badge people wear around.
•
Two things are for sure when I see this. They are either:
A: Going to break down at one point and have a major realization that this lifestyle isn't healthy or even fun anymore. 
Or B: It's fake, as are most accounts on social media. It's staged, and they aren't practicing what they are preaching and the authenticity is lacking.
•
Listen to your body. Love your body. But don't go to extremes with anything that you do because in time, your soul and body will rebel.

Sunny Vanilla Mugcake! So scrumptious! For whatever reason, this batter cooks much better in the microwave and forms little bundles of crystallized goodness that are a little gooey and a little crunchy, a bit like kookie brittle (see center of second picture). 😍 This is grain and nut free, vegan, and fruit-sweetened. ✨

1/4 C @traderjoeslist sunflower seeds, unsalted dry roasted 
1/2 banana 
1/4 C applesauce, unsweetened 
1 T @naturalevolution green banana flour 
2 splashes vanilla extract (or fresh vanilla bean!)
1/2 t maca powder (opt)
1 scoop @furtherfood collagen (code: tolerableats10)
2 T @sunfood  cacao nibs 
In a food processor or blender, blend the sunflower seeds until sandy. Add the rest of the ingredients except the cacao nibs. Blend until fully mixed. Add the cacao nibs and mix through. Pour into a mug and cook in the microwave for about 3:40. Pull the biscuit out once it’s cooled a bit.

For the frosting: I saved one tablespoon of the mixture and mixed it with one tablespoon of @redwoodhillfarm goat kefir. Topped with more cacao nibs 😊

Add the rest of the ingredients except the cacao nibs. Blend until fully mixed. Add the cacao nibs and mix through. Pour into a mug and cook in the microwave for about 3:40. Pull the biscuit out once it’s cooled a bit. ______ For the frosting: I saved one tablespoon of the mixture and mixed it with one tablespoon of @redwoodhillfarm goat kefir. Topped with more cacao nibs 😊

Fruit crumble, any fruit crumble, was always my favourite dessert growing up. It was the first recipe I could make without recipe or measuring cups. In short, it was complete true love. But struggling with food and tummy issues has meant I haven't eaten it in years. An extreme in anything will eventually backfire on you.

Extreme dieting.
Extreme workouts and phrases like “team no days off.”
Extreme grinding and working 16 hours days.
Extreme partying (funny how this is usually the only one people give a negative connotation to)
And extreme perfectionism in any craft.
•
At one point, your body basically (and usually without much warning) goes into fight or flight mode and this is where the breakdown occurs. I know this all too well, as I too am a recovering extremist. •
If you're in tune with your body and take this as a warning and pivot, you can usually bounce back fairly quickly, given you don't keep the extreme. Getting really honest with yourself, and slowing the hell down and listening to your intuition. 
But for most in our culture, grinding, hustling, the “how bad do you want it” mindset is killing people. I've seen it in my coaching and I see it all over social media being used as some token of honor, an invisible badge people wear around.
•
Two things are for sure when I see this. They are either:
A: Going to break down at one point and have a major realization that this lifestyle isn't healthy or even fun anymore. 
Or B: It's fake, as are most accounts on social media. It's staged, and they aren't practicing what they are preaching and the authenticity is lacking.
•
Listen to your body. Love your body. But don't go to extremes with anything that you do because in time, your soul and body will rebel.

Eating from your own kitchen means that you have to be selective about low process foods you eat regularly: no gums, excess sugars, preservatives, “junk”. I can’t have anything with Xanthan gum; it has consistently hurt my tummy the few times I have had it, and I have a mild gluten reaction to it. What are your replacement foods and ingredients? Psyllium husk (not made from corn) for baking; coconut milk (no gums); EPIC uncured bacon bar (one of the few meat bars on the market that have a few offerings without alliums; so far, there haven’t been changes to this particular bar’s formula, but I would systematically check each time you order). Tip: I put these and other gluten free safe foods on a list on my phone, and order or purchase locally when running low. What’s missing? Why, the processed white sugar, of course! 🤣🤣🤣 Some people will discover that maple syrup sugar is easier to digest; just take it easy on the amount. I AM SO EXCITED! I tried to make #glutenfree and #dairyfree pastry and it was such an unparalleled disaster I never tried again. But every year for as long as I can remember we've had Mum's amazing homemade mince pies. And not being able to have them just makes me so sad. And shop bought mince pies were way too sugary for me even BEFORE I gave up gluten and milk (you can imagine my thoughts on free from mince pies!). So finding this today has made my freakin' Christmas (Chanukah!). I'm so so happy. Thank you @sillyyakfoods - my heroes!
