呢間韓國餐不得了 唔好睇佢細細間咁 但竟然連韓國天團Big Bang都嚟堂食過 佢地甚至幫BTS喺澳門巡演期間送專屬飯盒 聽聞好快會搬鋪 想朝聖就要快 另外炸醬麵喺我食過最啱港澳人胃口 唔怕十分甜 其他菜式再出post介紹😍
This Korean restaurant is unbelievably amazing! Even Big Bang had paid a visit to this place. They also provided lunch boxes for BTS during there Macau concert. I heard that they will be changing location soon. If you wanna to try, you gotta be quick! The bean paste noodles are really delicious, unlike the really sweet ones in Korea. There are more dishes coming in the next post!

My first food post will be about today's dinner! Super healthy and delicious! But I couldn't resist adding that feta because I believe a meal without feta is a meal wasted! Today I got a great workout in at the gym: leg day followed by a sprint/incline treadmill run, stair stepper and core work! Let's just say it was a tough one! Anyways, dinner includes grilled pollock with tomatoes and spinach all seasoned with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and lemon pepper seasoning, also roasted carrots, sautéed snap peas, and a large grilled portobello mushroom cap that I stuffed with fresh avocado and feta of course! Super delicious and full of veggies, healthy fats, and lean protein. A great way to end a busy day of running errands. 💪🏻😋🏃🏼‍♀️#livfit #willrunforfood #health #fitness #cleaneating #paleo #wholefoods #fuelyourbody #foodisfuel #fitfoodie

Holy cow!!! 🐮 It’s been such a rough day in my house. I had to deviate a little today. I took my pre-workout, couldn’t get my WiFi to work and then 10 min into my workout my little one wakes up, still sick, crying and needing all of my attention. Once she was feeling much much better I went on to finish up leg day. Yikes! Post workout dinner was everything though 😋😋 I’m obsessed with banana peppers ok.  I have to make extra portions of everything for Mia too cause she eats EVERYTHING I make. But it’s totally okay cause she’s eating healthy too ☺️ Ready to be back to my normal routine tomorrow. It’s the weekend!! .

Turkey stuffed bell pepper with a colorful salad for dinner tonight 🥗👅👌🏽

Caramelized my onion with avocado oil, garlic, salt and pepper, added mushrooms and cooked that down with beef stock. Removed from pan and cooked my turkey in some of the leftover broth. Once almost cooked completely I added the onion and mushroom into the pan and mixed well. Stuffed my pepper and wrapped in foil and put into the 350 degree oven for 10 mins, unwrapped and cooked for another 10. Added some feta and cooked for 5 more mins. Topped w tapatio and... boom done. So so so tasy 😍

Some time ago, a nutritionist looked at my food diary and had a funny look on her face. How could I eat white rice, she asked. High glycemic index food, I should be diabetic, yada yada. Um, hello! Did she not notice who was standing in front of her? If all she knew as a non-asian person was true, why didn’t my ancestors and living relatives have diabetes and die of complications of obesity, metabolic syndrome, and heart problems? How could we have had generations of relatives who never experienced metabolic disorders? Why were they living into their late 90’s? Do you understand your genetic history and medical history well enough to customize your nutritional profile for your health and stop relying on generalized advice? BTW, I didn’t hire her; she admitted she didn’t have any experience with people like me! I learned early on that I needed rice paired with a protein and a fat to help slow the uptake of that high glycemic index grain, but rice has always been a safe food for me. Later, I learned that rice was one of the few grains I could safely eat at all, but I knew that well before test results confirmed it. None of this knowledge comes from generalized advice about healthy eating; you don’t learn this from reading a magazine, cookbook, or fitness club membership. My point being, you can use the latest available science to help guide you, AND you can learn to tune into your body and its responses to food. Individualized response to food is common. Normally, my "non Whole30ing" self is always ready for my next meal. So, I don't know what's going on... is this what #FoodFreedom is?!?! The last few days, I've struggled with at least 1 meal a day. Sometimes my meals get pushed back waiting for those overwhelming hunger pangs. It's an interesting feeling, and one I'm quite proud of. The thought of listening to my body and choosing the foods I know will properly fuel it, unlike the sugar-laden, high carb junky foods that stimulate my hunger and make me feel like crap 🙊

Tonight is one of those nights. I'm not super hungry, but I don't want to skip a meal. So, I chose a light meal, that has the protein and fat to satiate me and make me feel great. #Whole30 Day 19 dinner - arugula and spinach dressed with lemon garlic @tessemaes, 2 hard boiled eggs sprinkled with @traderjoes Errything Bagel seasoning, toasted almonds, and 2 slices of crispy prosciutto bits.

Homemade buffalo chicken pizza hit the spot. I still have lots of macros left to play with this evening. I should’ve thought it through a little more. I could’ve easily added more cheese and another tortilla to make a quesadilla! That would’ve had me under by 2 fats and 3 protein. Not too shabby. I don’t know why, but that idea didn’t sound as pleasing as pizza 😂

So I came home from the doctors today after not seeing any doctors since August of last year. Note: I've seen 5 different doctors about this. My new doctor today scared me into thinking I could possibly have something life threatening. I'm pretty sure I don't. Its probably just something minor but I'm going in to get tests done and soon a skin biopsy to hopefully get the answer to my unknown issues. Lets pray that it's nothing serious, yes! Sigh. •

Anyways! To comfort myself, I have made myself a treat. This was inspired by my favorite Salvadorian drink called atol de elote. But I didn't make it traditionally. It's sugar&dairy free. I used the sweetness from soy milk, and cinnamon. •
