Yep. I'm posting about dinner at 7am because we'll, I'm starving! Lol. I always get asked what my kids eat. For the most part it's what we do.
I made pork tenderloin on Sunday and we are eating leftovers tonight. My version has this amazing kale cole slaw but other than that it's the same! #icouldeattacoseveryday
Ps. We almost always add ketchup. 👩👧👧 Recipe in the comments!

this is how MuNG BeaN FaLaFeL looks on a hot + sunny porch in northern india!! 🌱💛🌯 yesterday i started reading a book called Jesus Lived In India and it is faaascinating to learn the parallel histories between cultures, different names for Noah, Moses, and Abraham, influences of india's language on Hebrew during the time of King Solomon . . . and more im excited to get to, about how Jesus' philosophy could have been greatly informed by Shivanshis and Buddhists in the Kashmiri area of Himalaya when he was receiving his knowledge and training from religious and spiritual leaders of the time, during the untold years of his young adulthood. ...Needless to say the intersection of two cultures i love influenced this easy peasy home made #falafelrecipe :: ▶️start with 1/2 cup (dry) green mung beans aka kitchari daal. grocery stores with a large bulk section usually have whole or split .. i recommend split for falafel ⏩soak for an hour and cook until soft. a pressure cooker is your friend. ⏩drain beans of excess water and add 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp basil or parsley, 1 tsp dhania // coriander powder, 4 cloves of garlic, 1/4 onion minced, 1/4 tsp black pepper and 1 tsp salt. Crush the beans and spices together until smooth and refrigerate overnight to firm up (optional) ⏩add 4 tbsp breadcrumbs, and form the mixture into silver dollar size discs or balls, no more than 1" thick. Heat a frying pan (really! let it get hot first!) and add just enough oil to line the bottom, then the falafel, moving every 15 or 30 seconds to keep cooking even on all sides. 🌿🥒🌻🏞definitely serve with coconut yoghurt tahini, sliced cucumber, tomato, red onion, and fresh pita bread // chapaati if you have a super skilled cook who can get the perfect puffy middle every time (you guessed it, mad props to @rishikesh_yoga_foundation)

Tiramisu cups -- a mini treat that's a favourite one for everyone. @chefegidioayala and @caio_ayala brought this soft, creamy and rich little Italian dessert to the guests at @teslamotors Martin Place, Sydney. ⠀
The dessert has a strong Italian heritage on which Chef Egidio often bases his dishes upon, mixed with local Australian produce and presentation elements from #lecordonblue
I had a significant birthday last week 🤗🎈so I had the best excuse to cook something from @ottolenghi and @helen_goh_bakes new book Sweet!
If you have seen the book, you'll understand how difficult it was to decide, so I went for something time consuming but with a blurb that promised "people cry with joy when they eat this." I definitely wanted people crying with joy, so it was a no brainer to have a go at this Frozen Espresso Parfait. And it was incredible!! Epic layers of hazelnut meringue, espresso parfait, chocolate and praline. I left out the caramel sauce to go on top, and it still amazing. Plus I got to use a sugar thermometer for the first time which was very exciting and took me back to year 9 science.
How cool is cooking and food?! My week (ok pretty much my life) centres around it. Sharing food is like a gateway to awesome conversations. It also improves our digestion and lowers our stress levels to sit and eat a meal with someone. Why not share some today!! Preferably this espresso parfait, but toast is good too ☺️💙
