Hmmm...the power of advertising. So, today was the launch of @chickanosltd new pepperjack burger. Its 100% grilled chicken mince (racking up those healthy eating points) with cheese, red onions, lettuce and the highlight: the 'pepperjack sauce.' If I had to sum it up in 1 sentence: you get what you pay for. At only £2.99 a pop, it's a good deal for a burger. The chicken is grilled well: succulent & of a satisfyingly decent thickness. The red onions were barely there. The pepperjack sauce you'll find, is a light layer slathered onto the bun. The taste of the pepper definitely shines through the more you get into the burger. It's nice, but nothing that has the wow factor. In terms of appearance: lacklustre: it certainly tastes better than it looks. Again, at £2.99, you are left feeling satisfied for what you paid, and I think it's been priced correctly. If you were paying the same as what you pay for the more gourmet burgers that chickano's do, you'd be disappointed because it doesn't match up to them. (Understandably.) Overall, I'm happy with what I had, but is it something I'd get again? No. Not when the brilliant 'Mexicano with buffalo sauce' combo is available (trust me, that tastes so good.) swipe left to see how I 'improved' my burger. #food#halalfood#foodreview#town#food#foodblogger#foodie#comfortfood#foodnetwork#foodlover#foodstyle#foodinsta#foodography#foodpassion#fooddiary#foodphoto#foodstagram#foodism#healthy#flatlay#foodlay#instafood#burger#chicken#pepperjack#chips#fastfood#takeout
Especially since when I'm here in London I hear talking about how good Italian food is. The fact is that it is not just food for us.
It is about culture, colours, flavours that reminds of family, of special moments.
It is about spending time together, cooking and having fun.
It is about remaining at the dinner table for hours, just talking.
It is about spending time with the beloved ones.
Food is about traditions,
