Sfratti cookie sticks (Italy)

INGREDIENTS

Pastry:

3 cups flour
1 cup of granulated sugar
Large pinch of kosher salt
⅔ cup of dry white wine
⅓ cup olive oil

1 large egg beaten with 1 Tablespoon of milk

Filling:

4 cups of Walnuts 
1 cup of  honey
Grated orange, lemon and tangerine peel
1/2 tsp of ground nutmeg 
1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp of ground cloves

preparation:

1- For the filling: In a medium saucepan, heat the honey over medium heat. 
2- Add the walnuts, orange, lemon and tangerine  zest, cinnamon and cloves, and cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes, or until thickened. Remove from the heat and let cool slightly. 
3- Moisten hands with some oil and shape from the piles about 2cm thick sausages.
4- For the pastry: In a large bowl, combine, the flour, sugar and salt. Stir with a whisk to blend. Stir in the olive oil and wine to make a smooth dough. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
5- Divide the dough into 6 equally sized pieces and roll them out with a thickness of about 0.5cm. 
6- Now roll with your hands the 6 previously prepared sausages in it and spread the whole with beaten egg w/ milk.
7- Bake the sfratti for 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 ° C, increase to 200 ° C after 15 minutes. 
8- The sfratti are cooled and ready to serve, cut each pastry into 1-inch thick slices.

No-Bake OAT-PUMPKIN SEED Squares .

Dog SNACK Recipe .

Five Simple Ingredients:
2 Tbsp Oats, Old-Fashioned
2 Tbsp Ground Oats or Oat Flour
1 Tbsp Mashed Banana 
1/4 tsp Cinnamon 
2 Tbsp Chopped Raw Pumpkin Seeds,Unsalted .

Combine first four ingredients together and mix.
Add the chopped Pumpkin Seeds to the mix. Combine and bring to dough like consistency. 
Scoop 1/2 teaspoon portions. Roll into little balls and gently press to form little squares. .

Makes about 18 Mini Squares. .

Can store in refrigerator for up to four days. .

I had to change bowls twice to fit all the veggies I made, which is how you knowww it's gonna be a good dinner 😤 this one is packed with chickpeas + sweet potato wedges + steamed broccoli + carrots + brussel sprouts + micro greens + spinach + @traderjoes bagel seasoning + and salsa (I literally put salsa on everything). Now to find something sweet for dessert and watch a movie with my mom while packing!

- 1 sheets frozen puff pastry
- 1/2 cup grated mozarella
- 125gr bocconcini, sliced
- 50gr baby potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 ts olive oil
- sea salt & cracked black pepper
- 2 tbs rosemary leaves
- 1 ts chili flakes
- 40 gr finely grated parmesan, to serve

Method:
Preheat oven to 200°C, cut each sheet of pastry into 4 equal squares and lightly prick each with a fork. Using a knife, gently score a 1,5 cm border around the edge of each square. Top each pastry square with mozzarella and bocconcini.

Place the potato, olive oil, salt & pepper, and rosemary in a medium bowl and toss to combine. Divide the potato mixture between the pastry squares and place them on 2 trays lined with non stick baking paper.

Bake for 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender, sprinkle with the chili flakes and parmesan to serve

Растительное масло;
Картофель (2 шт);
Цуккини (2 шт);
Лук (1 шт);
Сладкий перец (1 шт);
Морковь (1 шт);

Для маринада: сумак, ч.л. меда, ч.л. горчицы, соль, 5-6 зубчиков чеснока, сок лимона;

Курицу почистить от всего лишнего, помыть, и высушить хорошенько.
Поместить все для маринада в посуду, интенсивно помешать и смазать всю курицу в посуде для запекания со всех сторон.

Сковороду разогреть и налить масло. Обжарить все овощи, порезанные на кубики. Посолить, поперчить. Добавить любимые специи (у меня приправа из семи трав).
Затем заполнить овощами всю курицу, накрыть фольгой, и отправить на час в предварительно разогретую духовку и печь при градусе 200-220. За минут 15 снять фольгу и дать подрумяниться.

My last Sunday breakfast at home before going back to school calls for my vegan french toast ❤️ this was delicious as always and just what I needed this morning 👅
On a different note, I'm going to be honest and say that I am a little nervous about going back to school this year just because last year (my freshman year) was really just not a good time for me. I couldn't cook or even have so much as a microwave in my small dorm room so I had to eat at the dining hall for every meal, and I'm not even exaggerating when I say it was the worst food I've ever had. I literally ate a boring, processed salad and an apple with peanut butter for every meal, and I was so so unhappy. Obviously there are much worse problems to have, but I 1000% believe that food has the power to control our mood and daily life in general, which is why I now choose to eat as healthy as I can and indulge in healthier treats whenever I feel like it! I also had a rough time for other reasons such as being 3,000 miles from home for the first time, roommate situations, and just the stress of living in New York City and being in college. But I am determined to make this year better!! I'll be in an apartment style dorm (with a kitchen!) living with one of my best friends, and we have an amazing view of downtown Manhattan! I'm going to do everything I can to minimize my stress and just relaxx this year, and not get caught up in all the negative things. I am excited and nervous at the same time, so we will just have to see how it goes I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️

No-Bake OAT-PUMPKIN SEED Squares .

Dog SNACK Recipe .

Five Simple Ingredients:
2 Tbsp Oats, Old-Fashioned
2 Tbsp Ground Oats or Oat Flour
1 Tbsp Mashed Banana 
1/4 tsp Cinnamon 
2 Tbsp Chopped Raw Pumpkin Seeds,Unsalted .

Combine first four ingredients together and mix.
Add the chopped Pumpkin Seeds to the mix. Combine and bring to dough like consistency. 
Scoop 1/2 teaspoon portions. Roll into little balls and gently press to form little squares. .

Makes about 18 Mini Squares. .

Can store in refrigerator for up to four days. .

INGREDIENTS
* 250 grams whole wheat flour
* 250 grams plain flour
* 3-4 tbs sourdough starter
* 375 grams cool water
* 10 grams salt 
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Combine whole wheat flour and plain flour.
2. Add salt to flour and mix
3. Combine water and starter
4. Add the starter mix to the dough and let it sit for at least 3 hour.
5. Start your stretch and folds every thirty minutes for 3 hours of the bulk rise. On the second or 3rd stretch and fold, add your seasoning of choice to the dough. 
6. Stretch and folds are done, cover and let it bulk rise/ferment overnight at fridge. 
7. Dough has risen, remove it on the work surface to bench rest for 20-30 minutes.
8. Preheat heavy pan with lid on at 250C for 30 min
9. Score the loaf and transfer to the pan. Put lid on and bake for 20 minutes
10. Take lid off, bake uncovered for 20 minutes more
11. Let cool if possible (usually not…) and enjoy! .

طرز تهیه:

١-پنیر را خرد کنید.
٢-در تابه کمی روغن گرم کنید و پنیر را در آن تفت دهید تا آب شود.
٣-کمی نمک و فلفل سیاه اضافه کنید.
٤-به پنیر زردچوبه بزنید و آنرا تفت دهید.
٥-کمی شود خشک اضافه کنید.
٦-تخم مرغ ها را روی پنیر طعم دار شده بشکنید و آن را هم بزنید.
٧-پنیر واویج را در ظرف مناسبی سرو کنید و با شِوِد تازه آنرا تزئین کنید.

1.Put one salmon fillet for each person in an oven proof dish. Sprinkle some salt and pepper over it. 
2. Chop 1 red pepper and 1 Zuchinni and pour it over the fish.
3. Cut two limes in the middle and squeeze the lime juice over the fish and vegetables. 
4. Put it in the oven on 175 degrees celcius for approx 25 min. Serve with rice and sweet chili sauce. . Enjoy 😋

- 1 bongkah brokoli
- 1 buang kentang
- 1 buah wortel

Bumbu:
- 3 siung bawang putih dan 1 siung bawang merah dihaluskan
- 1 siung bawang putih iris tipis
- garam
- gula
- lada bubuk
- penyedap

Steps:
- potong semua sayur dan cuci hinga bersih
- tumis sebentar bawang merah dan bawang putih yang sudah dihaluskan dengan sedikit minyak
- panaskan +- 1 L air dalam panci - masukkan semua sayuran
- masukkan tumis bawang
- tambahkan gula, garam, lada dan penyedap sesuai selera.
- sajikan selagi panas.

No-Bake RASPBERRY-BANANA Squares .

Dog SNACK Recipe .

Three Simple Ingredients:
1 Tbsp Mashed Banana
2 Tbsp Mashed Thawed Frozen Raspberries
2 Tbsp Raw Coconut Flour .

Combine all the ingredients together and mix well. Bring to dough like consistency.

Lovin this Blueberry Vanilla Crunch Oatmeal bowl for breakfast 😍 always one of my favorite flavor combos. Made this with 3/4 cup old fashion oats + 1/2 tbsp flax seed meal + 1/2 banana mashed + cinnamon + pinch salt + 1 heaping tsp vanilla protein powder all cooked in 1 1/4 cup almond milk on the stovetop. Then I topped with blueberries + almond slices + raisins + chia and hemp seeds + more cinnamon + and then peanut butter after the picture! Enjoy your Saturday everyone 😊

Recently I have been  introduced by @livevitae to farmers market at notting hill, Amazing place for a saturday morning walk around notting hill with some fresh food picks to be chossen from straight from the farms, none of that packaged and filled with chemicals bullsh*t. 
And surprisingly  the price difference its not even that big and you are eating healthier and fresher at the end of the day which has got a massive impact on your health in the long run.. 😉

No-Bake RASPBERRY-BANANA Squares .

Dog SNACK Recipe .

Three Simple Ingredients:
1 Tbsp Mashed Banana
2 Tbsp Mashed Thawed Frozen Raspberries
2 Tbsp Raw Coconut Flour .

Combine all the ingredients together and mix well. Bring to dough like consistency. 
Scoop 1/2 teaspoon portions. Roll into little dots and gently press and shape into little squares. .

Makes about 20 Mini Squares. .

Can store in refrigerator for up to four days. .
