There was a time in every yogi’s life when they were a beginner; a time that was perhaps daunting, intimidating, emotional, exciting and confusing. To be on the mat is to experience all these sensations, and to be a yogi is to learn how to navigate them. Please join us as you step into the beginning of your practice- one that will enrich not only your body, but your mind as well. During this 4-week series, you will learn how to develop your own safe yoga practice by learning the basic poses, breathing exercises, and how to listen to your body while striking a balance between flexibility and strength. Class size is capped so everyone may receive personalized attention.

We will focus on the foundations of handstand, forearm stand, and headstand and work toward getting upside down safely and with control. Learn how to find opening and stability in the shoulders; build strength with various conditioning poses such as variations on plank and chaturanga (low plank) that can be incorporated into your daily practice; and conquer your fears with the help of the wall, props, small group exercises, and personal assistance from your teacher.

yesterday I observed a yoga class for my second YTT, I went to another yoga class later, weight lifted at the gym for 30 minutes, walked a mile, got on a bus that I could barely breathe on bc there were so many people on it and it was hot as hell even though it was raining outside, and then the best part when I got home, I watched movies and ate pizza with my roommates. But before all that happened, I was riding a bus and a woman behind me was robbed in board daylight and none of us could do anything to help her.
we can't know everything that goes on in one another's lives but can't we learn to at least respect one another and maybe show a little compassion? read more on my blog, click the link in my bio.

Took me 3 hrs to get out of bed this morning. Finally I said are you going to continue to punish yourself or are you going to do something about. I did a meditative walk and read about selenite while I burned sage in my meditation space for 5 minutes. Stood on a piece on selenite and practiced my breathing for 5 minutes. Did a selenite chakra cleansing excerise with my wand until I felt cleansed. And now I'm good as new.
I am on a journey towards self healing and I always will be. I believe that healing powers come to some people very naturally but I am not one of those people, I am a student to healing. Therefore I will always practice it. But I am more than willing to share with others what I learned on this journey, I spoke a little about this in my story today. If self healing or meditation interest you or if you suffer from anxiety depression or destructive behavioral patterns; vote on my story lemme know if you'd like some info on how I manage dealing with those things.
This is also my day 2 for #strongandsuppleyogi I practiced the pranayama exercises both yesterday and today just never got around to posting.
Yesterday I practiced it for asana purposes and found a much more active and strong core than before the exercise.
Today, I practiced it meditative purposes and found clarity and emotional stability to be the outcome.
Another big thanks to @fitnessbyerin @omstarsofficial @bitsybottom for this challenge. I needed this more I knew I'm slowly starting to realize.
I will now do my forgiveness prayer ritual and day 3 #strongandsuppleyogi challenge. ✌️👊 #letsgetit

In this workshop Kristin will provide tools and modifications to help contact athletes approach their yoga practice with less effort and more ease. Special attention will be given to common poses and flows seen in Vinyasa classes so that athletes will leave ready to jump into group classes or bring yoga into their existing training programs.

Happy dark moon everybody!! Which just so happens to be my moontime as well. So everyday tasks seem a little hard on me today, like putting on my boots, that’s also why I’m still wearing them in the picture, just couldn’t bring myself to put them off at the thought of putting them back on again😂. This #bowpose did wonders for my cramps though ladies, definite winner. I’m safely back in my red tent now and tonight it’s time for a beautiful ritual and creating new magical ceremonially made tinctures, I’m so super excited about these. Will be online soon! With all my love to all of you! Happy new 🌙
Last nights upside down action at Tracy’s Flyhigh Ariel workshop! My body is sore today (in a good way!) and I discovered areas of tightness that I didn’t know existed.. and, I loved it!

My first time at the Yellow Springs street fair and it was amazing. Great people and great vibes. Of course, I had to find the nearest yoga studio. I tried to take this awesome platform home with me, but it wouldn't fit in the trunk. 🙄
