Picture from a beach located about 20 minutes outside of Athens. This beach was private which means a couple of things. First there is a cost for admission. However this cost for admission means the beach is very well kept and includes bars, often sand volleyball courts, a restaurant or two, beach chairs, and in the case of this beach a spa. Personally, I very much enjoyed these amenities and it was worth the price of admission (roughly $7) but there are many beaches near this area that don’t charge for admission and are also quite nice.
Apologies for the poor video skills but my uncontrollable laughing made holding the camera slightly more challenging. Lake Superior is the largest, deepest, and coldest body of fresh water in the world. We own a lake house on the upper peninsula of Michigan which is near White Fish Point. As you can tell, even in August (when these clips were filmed) the water is a tad bit chilly. For those who visit “the north woods” I advise stopping by this little fishery restaurant called Browns. They have amazing, fresh caught whitefish, which makes for a great lunch or dinner :)
