Per il mio compleanno: il pasticcio di Eaton.
Meringa alla francese (fatta in casa) sbriciolata, panna montata, fragole e purea di fragole.
(La foto è volutamente in una sorta di stile anni '80...😉).
For my birthday: Eaton Mess. Crumbled French meringue (home made), whipped cream, chopped strawberries and smashed strawberries.
(The picture is intentionally in a kind of 80s' style... 😉).
It's not #tbt but these are some of my first macarons for French method. It's not perfect and you can totally spy some lopsided shells and peaks on top, but things have changed since then.
It's getting colder in ATX (today is 52°) and I'm in the mood to bake some holiday sweet treats like character macarons. However, I'm totally feeling uninspired as well. 🤐 I'll get myself up to speed soon~
