Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Today is a special day that was founded over two centuries ago for the specific purpose of Giving Thanks. Everyone has something to be thankful for, and we at Interlinc Financial implore you to complete our challenge of Giving Thanks to 5 people on this special holiday. This can be to friends, family, or even people you’ve just met. No matter who it is, passing thanks can have a deep impact on a life and you never know when you've just made someone's Thanksgiving day!
It’s no secret that a diverse array of school options is part of the fabric of #Frisco and #Leadership Prep School is doing its part to cultivate a rich tapestry of talent and innovation in today’s students who will be tomorrow’s leaders. @emilyamccord #ThisisFrisco#LifeinFrisco LINK IN BIO
Happy Thanksgiving! 2 Cor 2:14 ~ Thanks be to Him Who leads us in triumphant procession and spreads the fragrance of Him. Only place in the Bible that “word” is used. In all our defeats this year, Christ is the Supreme Victor. He has won by a Supra margin. No marrow margins in all we faced. It is done. It is won. No matter how I feel in my heart or how I spread rumors in my head. The Victory is huge. And all is well. Thanks be to Him. And we celebrate! And that means so much to me this year. I’ve never felt like a failure as strong as I have this year. My world has even said it. But oh! Faith is the victory! I believe. And it doesn’t depend on me, anymore. No situation where Christ cannot give us Victory. Happy Thanksgiving! And we celebrated in Kansas. On our way to a #Frisco celebration. #triumphantprocession#happythanksgiving#givemeJesus#chainedtothechariot#readthebiblecover#covertocover#handstotheplow#tearsinmyeyes#grateful#signposts#heisbeautiful SWIPE LEFT
When l started running it was my first attempt to loose weight. Never did l really enjoy it but damnit l was going to try.
When l ran my first 5k l was just impressed l had the endurance to make it for more than 3 miles.
Today l don’t run that much. Today l do things l enjoy more like kickboxing and weightlifting etc. the one thing l DO love is how l feel after any workout.
Last year l made a promise to myself. I don’t spend Thanksgiving with anyone and choose to use Christmas to fly back home. So, last year l committed that l would run a 5k every year.
Here l am crossing the finish line at 31 minute which would have been around 28 or 29 if l wouldn’t have stopped twice to say hi to a friend. The other thing... l wasn’t even pushing it. My first 5k l crossed at 47minutes so today without effort l was pacing better than l can imagine.
Today I’m thankful for doing this for me and choosing to live just a little bit more!
