200g Butternut squash
Whole tin of Tuna in spring water
It's topped with herbs, seasonings & virtually calorie free Chilli dressing.
👈🏻 On the we've got a tiny sandwich
2 slices of white bread
A tin of tuna
Mixed with full fat Mayo
🔸Far lower in nutrients but amounting to the same calories & less likely to keep you feeling fuller for longer🔸
Weight Loss = calorie deficit unless you significantly increase your exercise.
When dieting, volume foods are SO important but not only that,
You NEEED micronutrients even more because you're in a calorie deficit.
Just because you're eating in a deficit to lose fat, does not mean you need to go hungry!
It's all about making smarter choices!

Bondi Wholefoods, I've missed you! 😍 Went back to my old favorite café today for the first time in ages to celebrate the end of all my exams. I ordered my all time favorite: the classic breaky bowl with cinnamon granola, coconut bircher muesli, coyo and fruit salad. PLUS an almond chai latte, of course! 😉 So much nostalgia, loved it 💕
Dried mango vs. Fresh mango 🍈
Which do you prefer?
💥IMPORTANT FACT💥: Did you know that dried fruits always have more calories than fresh fruits?
Both are 100g but the nutrients are very different:
Dried mango (100g)
71 g carbs
62 g sugar
3 g protein
1 g fat
Fresh mango (100g)
12 g carbs
3 g sugar
1 g protein
1 g fat
So the carbs and sugar for the dried mango is drastically higher than for the fresh! ..And if you think about the calories you can eat a lot fresh mango (exactly about 500g!!) for the calories of the dried😋👌🏻😬 thats much more volume!!
On the other side you could only have about 20g from the dried mango for 59 calories...
I always go for the fresh fruit😋 because it tastes much better, has less sugar and you can eat a lot more! Though sometimes for on the go, the dried fruit is okay✌🏻
