[Fat Loss isn’t as Easy as You Think]
Why are we so impatient when we have absolutely no right to be?
We want everything now.
We want instant results and we want to avoid the process it takes to get to where we want to be.
We're not honest with ourselves, and what's more striking is the fact we're not fair with ourselves.
We expect X when we've been Y for so long.
That's not how it works, and when it does, it's an extremely rare case of someone being completely committed with the determination of a lion.
You need patience, even if you're not a patient person. This is something you really need to understand and work hard on.
If you were to train for a marathon with 0 running experience, you would build your miles up until eventually you could run a full 26.
The same can be said with anything you're not comfortable doing.
So why do we treat fat loss differently? Why are we so tempted to do everything at once?
All this does is turn your fat loss journey in to a painful, unsustainable process that doesn't last for very long.
Small, actionable steps are realistic.
Huge, drastic changes are not.

Bevor jetzt gleich alle aufschreien. JA, ich möchte künftig komplett auf Fleisch verzichten. Aber nein, ich werde hier nicht versuchen, irgendjemanden von euch zu vegetarisieren oder veganisieren. Deswegen ist die Challenge für diese Woche nicht: überhaupt kein Fleisch mehr essen, sondern bewusster Fleisch essen. Ich persönlich werde komplett auf Fleisch verzichten und natürlich darf das jeder auch tun.
Für alle anderen - es geht nicht darum, dass ich euch hier vorschreibe: "Ihr dürft kein Fleisch mehr essen." "Ihr dürft nur noch einmal die Woche Fleisch essen." - Nein, das könnt ihr für euch alleine entscheiden. Ich würde mir nur wünschen, dass ihr euch informiert - was ihr dort esst und wo es herkommt.

Today was day 4 of the Master Your Life Challenge! It was all about FOOD! I feel very fortunate that I have a healthy relationship with food because I know not everyone does. People often binge/stress eat, starve themselves, or go on crazy yoyo diets all the time. I'm very grateful that is not me. I eat well because I love my body and want to properly fuel it! I love healthy foods as well as unhealthy ones (especially ice cream!) and I allow myself to eat both. So tonight was a Kneaders kind of night! And it looks like Jessie girl approved of my choice!
Sometimes I wish that Instagram had a 'smellagram' function, these oils smell soooo good, especially this guy 👆🏼Lemon Myrtle... it kind of smells like an explosion of home made lemonade, the scent of lemongrass and the Australian bush all blended into one (that's obviously the technical description 😂)... I recently went on a kinder excursion to the local indigenous centre & a beautiful aboriginal lady there explained to us about native plants and their uses.. I was immediately hook on the Lemon Myrtle plant and was stoked to find out that Young Living produce and bottle its oil 🙌🏽... Pre workout snacks: Kirkland protein bar and fruit strip, plus 1 graham cracker with 1/2Tbsp whipped PB
Late breakfast: 1/2c oats, 8g Pescience cookies n cream protein, 9g PB fit, 15g mini choc chips, 1c raspberries, 1 egg white, 2 eggs, homemade sugar free Crio Bru hot cocoa drink (this is my fave meal, so also typical my biggest, and usually eaten post-workout)
Snack: 2c light kettle corn
Lunch: Pure Protein caramel PB bar and medium apple (not pictured: 1/3 of a Costco hot dog without the bun)
Dinner: 4oz shredded chicken breast (cooked in Herdez avocado salsa in my Instantpot), light Baby Bell cheese melted on top, 2c homemade Mexican rice, 5 sweet mini peppers
Last snack: 1/2c Dreyers slow churned cookies n cream ice cream, 1c strawberries, Kirkland cookie dough protein bar warmed up (not pictured: sliver of angel food cake and another serving of my Crio Bru hot cocoa drink)

I used to care a lot about what people think of me. So much so that I was terrified of letting people know about my Instagram account. I thought they'd think it's stupid and cheesy and weird. They'd see all these pictures and captions talking about things that matter to me, and they'd have negative opinions about it. I let these made up thoughts go wild in my mind and you know how paralyzing that can feel! 😞
Somewhere along the way though, my perspective on myself changed. I slowly started to realize that the opinions of others are outside the boundary of how I feel about me. 💯 Now...I'm like "you can just call me @justdimpleit" 😄I started owning who I was and started embracing others getting to see me vulnerable, open and honest here. Perhaps not everyone will understand my vision or see the value in what I stand for and that's ok. I know that I am living my truth and I LOVE my truth. 💯💞Once we all start to embrace our truest self and are no longer fearful of how others could perceive us, then we can all start to recognize just how strong we are. 🙌🏼

Ok so this just happened... most of you know that we eat healthy 90% of the time but we are human and have our reward meals too. Today it was McDonald's because we haven't had it in about 2 years!!! To be honest we didn't really enjoy it much although Lilli loved the idea of the box with a toy in it 🙄 I'm sure that's how us parents get sucked in!
