Simple kale salad topped with a spicy rosemary tahini dressing for lunch so easy and yummy. I also made a huge vegetable curry and brown rice for my boys and all their friends. Sourdough is rising on my verandah and raw chocolate is setting in the fridge. Play with organic ingredients for this delightfully creamy dressing to get it how you like it best: #tahini , whip with water, lemon juice, little cold pressed olive oil, apple cider if desired, fresh minced garlic, cayenne, sea salt, finely chopped fresh rosemary (or any fresh herb you have/love optional), pour over salads, make it thicker for dipping, use with jacket spuds, with your favourite legume dish in place of sour cream, endless...you can vary this dressing 101 ways (even sweet, try vanilla-cinnamon, water tahini for fruit) depending on the seasonings used. 🥗 I’ll be fasting soon, so 100% raw yesterday & today for me. Of course you could easily add a ton more goodness to this plate such as avocado, sprouts, onions, shredded root vegetables, seaweed, sauerkraut, but today it’s just as it is. Tasted better than cheesy pasta to me! #abieatsinspo

This variety is perfect if some dates like medjools are just too sweet for you. They taste as though wildflower honey & butter have been combined into an amazing vegan fudge. They’re also ‘just right’ in soft texture - not too syrupy but not at all firm or hard.
One variety I still want to try is the ‘barhi’ date. They’re said to be best when just harvested (late summer) and eaten the instant they turn from crisp & fresh to semi-soft on the vine - as fresh as a dried fruit gets. But I may have to try some dried ones soon anyway, just to taste them. 😉

I'm alive and well. Today was the first day I've looked at my notifications in about 3 weeks and I was happy to come back to so much love. It's almost been a month and I've changed quite a bit. I became a Buddhist and have been working on applying the practice (The Eightfold Path) to my life. I went on a 15 day juice cleanse which I broke Monday night. Now that I've resumed eating, I'll be eating fruit (including Avocados, Tomatoes, Zucchinis, Cucumbers, Peppers and all the other fruits that most people think are vegetables) and I'll be having greens sparingly, mostly in juices or smoothies. So I'm predominantly Fruitarian now. This fast has inspired me to do several fast throughout the year, every year so me popping in and out of here every couple of months will be regular. It was great time to myself. I read, walked, reflected and meditated alot. I almost wasn't going to come back at all but I thought I'd pop in here periodically to share my experiences and provide assistance and inspiration to anybody who needs it. I want to give. I'm no expert or guru. Better yet, I am human just like all of you and I understand you more than you know because I understand myself. I want to use this page to spread wisdom, promote health and mindfulness and provide assistance to anyone seeking to transition into a healthier lifestyle not by being a coach, but by being a homie. One year ago around this time I was moving out of my NYC apt where I had spent the last 8 years of my life. I was DEVASTATED and did not want to leave. Also because I do so much energy work and was actively doing processes to try to keep the status quo, I felt like the universe had let me down... because they weren't working!!
If I could go back in time to talk to myself then, I would say: trust that this experience is working for you, even though it seems like everything is going wrong. One year later.... it's because I left that apt that I'm able to travel more freely and work for myself. I would not be where I am had I not been forced to change. Remember this if you're experiencing major loss - I wrote a blog post on this as well. Look for the opportunity, the open door... there always is one💖

5 STEPS TO USE THE “LAW OF ATTRACTION” AND IMPROVE YOUR LIFE
The law of attraction states that every positive or negative event that has happened in your life was attracted to you. By using the law of attraction, you may be able to get back the positive thoughts and actions you put out into the universe.
►RELAX YOUR MIND
Meditate for 5 to 10 minutes. Doing this will increase brain power and have your mind at that relaxed state. This step is optional but recommended.
►KNOW WHAT YOU WANT, DON’T DOUBT YOURSELF
Know exactly what it is that you want. If you're not clear/sure, the Universe will get an unclear frequency and will send you unwanted results. So be sure it is something you have strong enthusiasm for.
►ASK THE UNIVERSE FOR IT
Make your request. Send a picture of what you want to the Universe. The Universe will answer. See this thing as already yours. The more detailed your vision, the better.
►WRITE YOUR WISH DOWN
Start with "I am so happy and grateful now that..." and finish the sentence (or paragraph) telling the Universe what it is that you want. Write it in the present tense as if you have it right now. Avoid negation terms. Every day until your wish comes true, close your eyes and imagine your desire as if it's happening right now and see your imagination turning more clearer.
Be thankful for what you already have and be thankful for all the things the Universe has given you. The Universe has done a lot of things for us. Paying the Universe back with some gratitude will motivate the Universe to do even more things and will draw more things into your life.

This is the first time I’ve properly opened my IG today and I’m quite proud of that as it meant I could get a lot of work done! Il m'a fallu 2 ans pour que je puisse considérer Ce cancer Comme une bénédiction qui m'est arrivée. Pour qu’il m'aide à faire face aux peurs que j'avais et remplacer l'amour et le pardon par tout ce qui pesait sur Mon cœur depuis longtemps.
Le passé n'est pas là pour nous hanter mais pour nous apprendre et nous guider vers la lumière et ce qui est essentiel.
J'ai encore une longue chemin vers le vrai moi à faire et tant mieux 😊 car j'ai encore bcp à apprendre.
Je ne sais pas qu'est-ce que ça sera La suite des événements. Est-ce que je survivrai à cette maladie ou Pas.
Mais tout ce qui importe à mes yeux c'est "d'essayer" de vivre La vie pleinement, faire confiance en ce processus, garder la Foi, embrasser l'inquiétudes et l'incertitude , aller De l'avant et faire des efforts tel un phénix pour renaître de mes cendres... c'est ça aussi La vie. ❤

It took me 2 years for i consider this cancer as a blessing that happened to me. to help me understand & accept my fears I had and replace love and forgiveness by everything that weighed on my heart for a long time.
The past is not here to haunt us but to teach us and guide us to the light and what is essential.
I still have a long way to -> THE real me and it’s so good because i still have to much to learn.
I do not know what will happen after. Will I survive this disease or not.
But all that matters to me is "to try" to live life fully, trust in this process, keep Faith, embrace worry and uncertainty, move forward and make efforts like a phoenix to be reborn from my ashes ...
that's also life. ❤
Raspberry chocolate chip smoothie from our “7 Day Smoothie Challenge eBook” — recipe below:
-2 frozen bananas -2 pitted dates
-1 cup raspberries -2 TBSP hemp seeds -1 TBSP cacao nibs (more if desired)
-1 cup water
Blend all ingredients except for the cacao nibs in a high speed blender until smooth ! Add a little more water if needed to blend. Pulse in the cacao nibs , you don’t want to blend them in fully because if you do you will lose the chocolate chip texture :) serve and enjoy !
