• #Catteau @insta_ulb #Bxl#Granvelle#RueDesSols#ARC "

'In my work I am interested in identity, or the 'self'. Not the searching of my own 'true' self, if there even is such a thing, but the way identity can be manufactured or constructed. I try to play with this in my work. Sometimes this results in rather personal works, sometimes the formal aspect predominates. There is often a certain impossibility to be found in my work. I try to play skip with a line of birthday flags, I make balloons out of ceramics and have them spell the word 'Einzelganger' in the shape of a totem. In my work, I constantly transform myself. This allows me to show or research specific matters.'
