A year ago on this day, I landed in the emergency room for one of the worst pains of my life. I found out my gallbladder needed to be removed immediately due to a blockage. After countless tests, 4 procedures later to remove the gallbladder and the stones, and 9 days in the hospital, the nightmare was finally over. Remember to take care of yourselves! 😊 #gallbladder#gallbladderremoval#gallbladdersurgery#hospital
These last 2 weeks have been brutal. For some reason my symptoms are usually worse in January, but I can barely lift my arms to type this. Saying this isn’t negativity, it’s honesty. I’m not complaining, I’m struggling. I accept the current state of my life and live with authentic joy for the most part but also cry until I’m hyperventilating every couple weeks because of this struggle. It’s authenticity, it’s vulnerability, but it’s not negativity. ❤️ I think the people in the chronic illness community have been silenced out of fear of being negative. ❤️ We DON’T want to lose more people in our lives, and nobody likes someone who’s “negative” so we filter everything we say through these expectations. But there’s got to be a safe place to say THIS LIFE IS HARD, I AM SUFFERING, AND THAT’S OKAY TO SAY. I’m waiting on my surgeon’s office because they don’t have a schedule for their upcoming surgeries so they have yet to book mine. My fatigue has been to the levels where I’ve considered bringing out my oxygen machine from my closet because at night I’m too tired to take deep breaths and too tired/weak to sleep (any other spoonies know what I’m talking about? 🙋🏻♀️). My diseased gallbladder has been aggravating all of my daily symptoms. I look at what the next week has in store and I’m overwhelmed. I am at the end of myself. Honestly though, I’ve been at the end of myself for 4 years. I couldn’t have made it this far unless I had access to a strength far bigger than myself. I fear this week, I fear how my body will react to gallbladder surgery and also how it’ll react without it. My entire life is currently at the mercy of a doctor’s schedule- it’s outside of my control. My life has been, for the most part, out of my control for the past 4 years. This is a frightening state to live in. I cannot force the system to move quicker, I cannot take out my gallbladder myself, and no supplements have helped me. I have no power over this circumstance. But that’s where raw, unadulterated grace comes in its purest form. Complete dependence and desperation. “How satisfying to turn from our limitations to a God who has NONE.” ❤️
🍋 GALLBLADDER 🍋
The gallbladder is an often underrated, underestimated and misunderstood organ. It plays a vital role in BILE storage and release.
Bile is necessary for the efficient and effective metabolism and absorption of fat, which means it plays a key role in digestion, assimilation, and hormone regulation (since hormones are fat-based!). When people think of gallbladder dysfunction it is often in the context of gallstones. While this is certainly a common concern, the gallbladder can be functionally underperforming which can also lead to many unwanted signs and symptoms. It can be very difficult to diagnose gallbladder problems in the absence of visible stones.
I am writing my next blog on the gallbladder and what we can do to take care of this very important organ, because although we can technically live without it, this doesn’t mean it isn’t a key player in our health and wellbeing.
Stay tuned!!! 🍋#nutritionistbrisbane#gallbladderproblems#gallbladder#bile#digestion#digestivehealth#gallbladderdiet#gallbladderattack#gallbladderdisease#gallstones#gallbladderissues
🤔Have you had your gallbladder removed? 🎉I know some natural herbs that can help😎
Your gall bladder is what stores enzymes that break down fat.😮✨
*💥Enables fat digestion
*💥Enables absorption of fat soluble antioxidants and vitamins A, E, D and K
*💥Assists the removal of cholesterol from your body
*💥Assists the removal of toxins that have been broken down by the liver.
😮😮😮😮 😉Obviously you can survive without a gallbladder, but you are more prone to developing certain health problems. In particular you are at greater risk of developing a fatty liver, experiencing indigestion and developing deficiencies of essential fatty acids and fat soluble nutrients. 😞Common side effects can be vitamin deficiencies (fat soluble ADEK), urgency to poop and cramping, especially after a fatty meal, and perhaps fatty liver⬅️⬅️ among other things. 😊Your gallbladder houses your digestive enzymes. IBS and leaky gut are sometimes the result of having a gallbladder removed over time. One of the fantastic things about Plexus is that our supplements have digestive enzymes in them. That's why even if you have had your gallbladder removed it can help with the IBS or leaky gut. 🤔Are you still suffering? 🤗You should really give this a chance! 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

Gallbladder attack! Today I had a gallbladder attack, if you've ever experienced one you'll know the pain is excruciating. BioKinesiology allowed me to cancel my operation to have it removed but BioKinesiology can only work when you follow the plan, this week I was stressed and drank too much alcohol. We're all human, we can't be perfect but my body sent me a sign today and I'm grateful for it's intelligence.
What an eventful night! After getting home from a church function, I started to have pain in my back and decided to take a bath to try to relax.. when all of a sudden my whole body clenched up! I was in the worst pain of my life!!! I couldn’t move or talk, just scream and throw up. My poor husband had no idea what to do and so he called 911! I was rushed to the hospital and of course they only thing I was worried about is the two little ones. After hours of monitoring the doctor said I had a gallbladder attack and I could have gallbladder disease that could be brought on bc of twin pregnancy. Lots of “could be and ifs” but babies are perfect and healthy and that’s what I’m was far more concerned about... as for me i have to go on a strict no fatty/greasy/acidic food diet! #pregnancyproblems#healthybabies#34weekspregnant#gallbladder#twinpregnancy
Teaching the Gall Bladder channel pathway, points, actions and other bits and pieces in class today as part of the Xian Tian college Diploma course. The Gall Bladder channel has a long pathway through the body and can initially be quite daunting for new students. It is however, one of the most important channels on the body for many reasons and so it is worth spending a great deal of time on. Tomorrow we shall move onto channel pathology and treatments using classical methods. .
This is how:
Lay on your back, with feet shoulder width apart and relax; put a pillow on left elbow, rest left elbow on top, put left hand on top of right hand and rest on top of liver area (right side rib) palm side down.
With eyes looking up as far as you can, bring eyesight to middle of eye brow, then tip of nose, then below the hand (liver and gall bladder area) picturing the healthy shape of liver and gall bladder. With eyes closed, touch your tongue to upper part of mouth.
3:breathing, 24 times
When breathing in, thinking all healthy clean Qi (life force entering liver and gallbladder), tongue still touching upper part of mouth; When breathing out, thinking all toxins leaving both organs, with tongue touching bottom of inner mouth.
✨breath in and out for 24 times, then regular breathing until you fall asleep.
This will help strengthen the liver and gallbladder and heal any chronic disease related to both organs, help to detox, reduce liver fire, gallbladder pain or discomfort! ✨and have a better sleep💤💤
🤷🏼♀️ WBC is elevated, high Monocytes, Low Lymphocytes, Magnesium is slightly low, Hypertension, Tachycardia, I have the jitters, chills, weakness, exhausted yet wired, extreme insomnia, gallbladder & kidney pains along with joint, muscle & bone pain, my lungs are heavy & hurt from my Asthma, you name it... All while trying to avoid food triggers & catching any bad germs. Already have Thrush so I’ll be making a trip to my pharmacy but I’m definitely taking more precautions even more than my norm to try my best not to catch something else. I’m so glad I’m able to have close care with my Allergy/Immunology team. After already having my weekly follow up appointment, I’ve spent time on the phone with a few of my providers the past few days making sure my medications & symptoms are in check to get through the weekend. 😷#lifeofnessleigh
🙋🏼♀️ Like none... Thanks Dexamethasone! 🙄 Just one dose in & my immune system is completely depleted. My body is feeling all of the sensitivities. I just need to get through this & get my allergy testing out of the way. 🤞🏼 #lifeofnessleigh
Greek salad lunch, evoo on top. I finally found real feta (sheep's milk). I added lots of olives to keep my #fat up. It was yummy, but couldn't finish the last bite. I'm about two weeks into #keto and haven't been very hungry the last couple of days.
I have chronic gout which flares up with carbs and protein, the #lchf lifestyle has been doing well, I just keep my protein to 15%, carbs to 5%. I can't do Paleo anymore because it caused issues (can't handle too much protein) and I tried plant based for a couple of years but beans and anything carby caused flare-ups for me. I stuck it out though but I ended up having some serious issues with my hands and I had to admit I couldn't keep doing it. I'm not going to sacrifice myself to save money or animals. Another plus is I haven't had any gallbladder attacks since switching over. They were so bad plant based I was vomiting whenever I had anything with fat. Nuts, seeds, avocado all had to be avoided. #ketosis#ketogenicdiet#ketogeniclifestyle#ketodiet#highfatlowcarb#highfat#gout#chronicgout#arthritis#pain#healing#gallbladder
Blood work from yesterday came back and they called with the results. My liver enzymes are still elevated, and I have high bile acids that are "not high enough to be concerned yet, but high enough to keep an eye on." and "common with your gallbladder issues, but not normal" We're still planning to induce at 37-38 weeks, but those results have me nervous because of the possibilies they bring forward, and since this is my first full term birth, my Dr has me convinced I'm doomed to be overdue or end up with a c-section. I'm trying to be positive, but this gallbladder thing has me bummed out. I'm sick of throwing up all the time. I'm sick of being in pain. I'm sick of the 24/7 heartburn and burning in my upper torso and I'm sick of hospital stays with little to no answers on how to make this easier. I'm sick of not being able to eat normal food and I'm sick of being very pregnant and very hungry without the option of even a real meal. Not to mention the normal pregnancy stuff I'm experiencing. Between my first pregnancy, the surgery I went through after that loss, the gallbladder issues starting, and now this pregnancy, I'm just so ready to have my body back. I'm ready to get my gallbladder removed and feel normal again. I'm trying so hard not to be a Debbie downer. I'm trying so hard not to complain. I wanted this. I'm SO THANKFUL. I'm pregnant. We've been trying to have this baby for 7 years. But it's getting hard. I want him here. I want him safe, and healthy, and I want to o feel human again. And the emotional outbursts are becoming very real the last few days. I'm so done and technically I'm not even due until Feb 26. Please body, get ready and favorable for induction. I will do anything. 😭 #34weekspregnant#almost35weeks#pregnant#pregnancyafterloss#rainbowbaby#itsaboy#dueinfebruary#gallbladder#elevatedliverenzymes#pregnancy#highriskpregnancy#sodone#thirdtrimester#ready
Nine years on. It never gets easier. The tears still run down my face exactly the same way it did that day. Nothing could have prepared me for losing you. Words still fail me when I go back to that day. You were not to share the journey of life with me and I felt robbed and cheated for many years but our story has helped with the healing of other mums and families dealing with loss. My heart aches thinking about you but today I remember and celebrate the time we did have together. Love lives on forever. Forever and always my baby you will be💖#RIP
