#throwback year #2011#lucky I have been to #Hawaii and got out of it after going back again on #2013#lucky I have my #sanity 🤣 (those who know me well would know exactly about the sanity thing I am talking about here) #theadventure was #wonderful I don't regret #travellingthere#gorgeous place to #holiday not to live though you'd feel like you're in #urdanetapangasinan , too hot for my liking and my photo sensitivity! 😜
The house I'd used as my accommodation on the second year of my tour, year 2013 had mice and cockroaches infestation!! 😱Eww! What on Earth I had put myself into! - Very lucky that I stayed in amazing Sheraton Hotel by Waikiki on my first tour. Thanks so much to sis for giving us a whopping 50%discount as fam members.
Anyway, I'd gone to #doleplantation#and did the #gardenmaze#it was great but I had itchy skin after 😜😅😅 However, after the trip, I have been informed by my Aunt who lives in the U.K. that during the 60s to the late 70s my Marquez Granddad used to work in Dole Plantation and it was a pleasure to see the place.
••YOU CANNOT BE BEHIND ON YOUR OWN PATH••
I was feeling behind lately, and my coach said this to me 👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼Think about that for a second. How much time do we waste feeling like we're not far enough along in life?
Do you ever feel like you're making decisions as if your life is a maze- not sure which way to turn? It can all feel like a giant guess as to if you're moving forward or if you going down a path that is just going to waste a bunch of time.
I like to think we always know deep down exactly which way to go, but sometimes we let life/friends/family pressures dictate what we do with our lives. We stay at a job we hate, we marry the wrong person, we have kids before we're ready, because that's what everyone tells us. That's because we are giving them our power- we think they can see our maze from a birds eye view, but only our soul truly knows the right path. And when we fall out of touch with our soul, we lose sight of our path.
Remember: no one else knows your maze better than you. There may be those that have better perspective (picture a tall person who can slightly see over the hedges) and they are great to confide in, but no one can make decisions for you because no one else has to live with those decisions. You just have to trust your gut! So today, ask yourself what decisions you've left in the hands of others, and take a baby step toward gaining that power back.
The best parts involved running into dead ends, going in circles, passing by the same bench at least 3 times and not realizing it until the 3rd time, being so close to the waterfall you can hear it but not quite see it, losing each other and just feeling so utterly lost. So basically an adventure of the many things you hope to avoid in life. But there was a hint of sadness when we finally found the exit and this garden maze journey came to an end.
