So my panniculectomy has been approved. Bitter sweet really as the full package is 9,500$ Money I don't have...I have a tax and financial aid refund coming to me that will help me put a down payment down but it's not enough 😔 and getting a job with my school schedule + helping care for my 99 year old grandmother is nearly impossible. My parents might possibly help finance the surgery but I don't want to be a burden 😞 sorry to sound so depressing guys I'm trying to stay positive. But 9,500$ by December is impossible. Waiting to hear back about my arms 💪🏻 pray for me!
I never ever thought I'd share this photo on the left. No one has seen this photo but me. Working on myself this year from the inside out has allowed me to drop my pride and share myself unapologetically, with the deepest vulnerability. .
On the right, I'm truly happy. I'm still a good 75 lbs from my goal 🥅 but I'm on my way there. It's not an overnight process and trust me, that in itself can be the biggest frustration because Lord knows we would love to wake up looking like our dream version of ourselves. .
It's not impossible to get there even though it seems like that especially when you're about to start your journey. It just takes time, patience, dedication, and trust in yourself. Have the faith that you can and will get there. My God is in control. 🙏🏽 #transformation
sorry I've been so mia from our community y'all- I miss the closeness and support I feel when I'm more connected but I've been trying to balance my life more while putting the most effort in I can to each thing I do.
BUT here are some pictures from my sisters wedding I wanted to share with you all!
Hope you're having a great week so far loves!
I am officially down 30 pounds since the start of my preop diet! And I also officially broke through my almost 2 week stall! Being real here - I am a BAD bariatric patient. I tried solid foods about a week after surgery and it went down like butter. I've been eating solids ever since! Technically I'm supposed to still be on puréed for another week (I wasn't supposed to start soft solids until 5 weeks post op). The weight is falling off again and I'm feeling good! In fact I felt so great this morning I had my hubby snap a pic of me before I ran out the door for work at 6:30 am. Can't wait to use this as a "before" pic! .
Pre op diet day 1, 4th shake out of 5 for the day. At least they're delicious! I have boxes of chocolate and vanilla. 12 more days of liquids and then surgery! Is it October 2nd yet??
This is my first large size t-shirt in the best part of 17 years and whilst at the moment it looks more of a 'muscle fit' style t-shirt I direct it will loosen up over the coming months but goes to show that I am now no larger (dependant on style) then a large rather then a 18 months ago I was wearing 6XL and this is 4 months post-op down from 128kg surgical weight to 103kg #losingweight#losingweightfeelinggreat#vsg#gastricsleeve
#studionor#studionortreningssenter#bodypump#gangsperr#gastricsleeve#treningsglede
