You may already have heard about our Ratio InvisoMatch Mounting Plates, but did you know they let you install our Ratio Tuned Machine Heads in about seven minutes?
Using them also reduces the number of SKUs dealers have to carry. Instead of carrying 30 or 40 different styles, they now only have to carry six.
Click the link in our bio to check out all the different colours and sizes.
Ever been to the movies and you feel like your right there in the room looking all around at something big like a train station or a city? Chances are the shot was slowly pushing in using a wide angle lens just like this 10-18mm. For those shots it's typical to use a 14mm,24mm or even an 8mm fish eye. #phoenixcomicon2017#gearcheck
One thing special about a Gibson 335 is the midrange. Which is why I like if for jazz. It’s a required taste that takes time to develop. These guitars can be finicky with certain amps. To help with this, I’ve replaced the stock pickups with some Lollar Imperials which adds more top end and reduces some of the honk. John Scofield plays an Ibanez copy of a 335 and I always liked his tone. His album Hand Jive is on my top 10 albums of all time and it’s drenched with 335 tone goodness. I love the way he blends jazz, soul, and blues. Many try but few can really pull it off like him. What I like about this sound is he manages to get a really clear but fat tone from his guitar. He owns that subtle breakup sound and his choice of chords and lines are influenced by the level gain he sets. It really takes a lot of work to not only learn the instrument but to learn how the gear reacts. I aspire to have John's level of touch with the instrument. 👍 ----------------------------------------------------------
My custom pickguard from @Riograndepickups came in last night, and I cannot wait to install this!! Thanks to Dave Wintz and everyone over at Rio Grande for the sweet deal! I'm really excited to see what this setup can do!

Toying with a vertical computer monitor layout. I noticed with the monitors side-by-side I was mixing with my head turned to the left (to face the main screen). Took me a day to realize this was why things were sounding off-balance. Symmetry is your friend when mixing lol.
