I gotta take a second to sing @omertamia praises. I ordered a package from them, part of which was meant to be a stocking stuffer for @ashleyparrino for Christmas and the USPS lost the package but insisted they delivered it on time and to the right address. I notified Omertà and they immediately offered to box up another one and send it out but I told them to hold up in hopes the USPS got there shit in one sock. Well we all know that never happened but the guys over there at Omerta came though big time. I love all the gear and those dudes are 100% class, especially Joseph Gaughan! Sorry Joe, I don’t know you’re on Instagram but if you’re ever in NOLA dinner is on me. #goodpeoples#gentlemenscode
A man tries to make his mark and a gentleman strives to leave a mark. A man accepts a favor and a gentleman returns the favor. A man gives orders and a gentleman inspires. A man fits the mold and a gentleman tires to break the mold. The differences are many, but it all comes down to this: a man takes the necessary amount of steps and a gentleman takes the extra step. Congratulations to all the gentlemen who took the extra step.#oloc#pma#pedrotheroadie#gentlemenscode
Improvement Pill did a YouTube video on the law of attraction that breaks it down like book, The Secret, does. Highly recommend following this YouTube page if you're interested in self improvement. How do you guys plan to improve yourself this weekend?
Exercise is an awesome way to start your day. Anything form of exercise helps (yoga, weight lifting, running, HIIT, etc). The CDC lists some benefits of exercise as:
Control your weight
Reduce your risk of cardiovascular disease
Reduce your risk for type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome
Reduce your risk of some cancers
Strengthen your bones and muscles
Improve your mental health and mood
Improve your ability to do daily activities and prevent falls, if you're an older adult
Increase your chances of living longer
Let me know what your favorite form of exercise is in the comments.
Reading is a wonderful way to calm your mind, and to prepare it for sleep. Let me know what you guys did today to be better than you were yesterday. I started working out again and am trying to read every night before bed.
A little mid-day motivation for you. Big changes don't happen over night. They are a result of little changes over time. Don't ever give up on your dreams. Let me know in the comments what you're working to achieve.
The Law of Attraction is the simple idea that what you're thinking manifests itself into reality. If you're thinking positive and doing positive things than positivity will be returned to you. The idea is the same for negative thoughts. There are several examples of entrepreneurs, actors, and many other successful people using this idea to become successful. One example is Jim Carrey. He wrote himself a check for $10 million, posted the date for 5 years later and kept it in his wallet. He worked every day to try and achieve his dreams, while manifesting the idea that they will come true. Sure enough 5 years from when he wrote the that check he received a real $10 million check for his movie Dumb and Dumber. There is a link to an Oprah interview, where Jim Carrey discusses this, in my bio. Let me know in the comments one of your dreams or if you've ever heard of the Law of Attraction before.
Feeling inspired by the podcast from earlier, I'm going to try and get 8 hours of sleep tonight. I'm thankful we live in a time when information is so readily available for us to use and to continue to grow throughout our lives. Let me know in the comments what you're thankful for tonight.
Next Saturday at 12pm, I'm excited to announce I'm playing my first show in one of the coolest towns in New Jersey
For years I'd sneak off to Burlington city just to walk around the beautiful historic town - the river always called to me and the town always warmed my soul by just being there.
Come hang out with me and my friends Ryan and Schaffer at Evermore Coffee Roasters this weekend and feel the magic.
