Organized the kitchen, still have to do the bedroom, and cleaned out the refrigerator while catching up on This is Us, Grey’s Anatomy and How to Get away with murder! (Love these shows) 🙌🏻 I know it sounds lame... but it was actually kinda awesome!! Plus my toe is still healing!! Ughhhh
STRONG ALL ALONG 💪💪💪 Anyone who knows me knows this is my mantra💃 so much so I even got it tattooed on my arm. I've found in the last few months since I started coaching that I needed to improve my mindsets strength not just my physical strength. Yes, I've always been super positive✌& I've always been able to see the good in others. But in the last year I guess I wasn't doing as well as I thought. Becoming a coach has taught me how to improve daily✔ Not only with personal development and fitness but by the supportive community I now truly consider friends. We all have the same goal in mind👉 to build happier healthier lives aka #lifebydesign . And we do this daily by showing up in our group, reaching out to each other,sharing the ups & downs & holding each other accountable!! Did you get that? All the right tools can be placed in front of you but until you choose to follow through, show up diligently & do what's necessary you will not get the changes you desire. Let get real for a sec.....I definitely would have NOT pressed play if it wasn’t for seeing our fit fam from all over the world crushing their workouts as I was doing mine. It’s the community and accountability that helps you stay on track and crush those f*ckln goals 😳👏💪. Plus who the hell wants to work out on a Friday night....not me. #NeverMissAFriday
Day 4/56: Back in that Iron Paradise for some chest, shoulders, and triceps 👏👍💪.
In between sets we try to keep it lose and have fun. If you aren’t having fun when working out, you’re doing it all wrong!
Feeling so fancy.. why? Because I followed through! For a lot of people that may be nothing.. but when it comes to a 47 min workout that consists of mostly crazy ass pushups, I quit at 27 min I'd done enough... but then I thought of the women in my group- the mom of 3 who wakes up at 5 to get this workout in then teaches all day, the women who's never tried this before and is feeling awkward but still committed 💯 to getting it right, the #workingmom of two who crushes life work momminhband still makes time for herself. And I finished. I pressed play again and I finished, for me for them for the accountability and motivation that these women put forth everyday. If you lack motivation- get accountable. Just shoot me a PM - with "Help" I have a group starting the first week of December.. let's keep each other to it, let not gain those 7-10lbs most do over the holidays.. let's not quit together-- let's feel fancy and good because we finished!- we've got this 💥💯💥💪🏼

As the saying goes " it's like water off a ducks back". I didn't know the hardest part of being an aspiring full time athlete was having a supportive network behind me. Finding my passion and falling in love with this sport was the easy bit. Getting up and training on my bike daily, is the easy bit.
But finding support and a network of people that are gunning for your success is the hard bit. I'm here to stay. And I'm in this for the long run.
I just want to say a huge thanks to a few people that have helped alot along the way. Glenn Lewis, my first coach, who saw my potential and had faith in me from day one! Sally McKenna, a fabulous cyclist to have began my journey with and a great inspiration for women cycling. Sean Eadie the former NSWIS sprint coach who took me on and made it happen. I wouldn't have had the opportunities I've had without him. @cycology_gear for being supportive and sending me some great kit to look flash in! @adonisathleticsgranville @yeahthefaz @coach_wassim without Adonis this year and their support and guidance I wouldn't have found a place to keep training hard. They improved my strength in the gym and gave me a support network to tap into. And some seriously strong competitive people to train amongst.
Port Pacific resort and my casual position with them; when I started to travel and train hard back and forth from Port Maquarie, Newcastle and Sydney they were very supportive and understanding of my ambitions. I eventually had to make the move to Sydney but they continued to follow my journey and helped contribute to my adventure in the USA where I truly learnt the ropes of being a competitive sprint track cyclist. Thank you Port Pacific Resort. The people I train with and have met along the way have had a huge impact on my knowledge within this sport and I've needed (still need) you all to enable me to learn so quickly. If you've read this far, thanks, I've needed to make this point not just for me but for other women within cycling. Or anyone who has a dream. Keep living the dream and having fun.

Did you know research shows kids have perfect posture until 5 years old? That’s crazy! Just a few years ago it was 7 but think about it. Kids are learning earlier and earlier bad posture by watching us adults. Just look at how they sit and play there video games and iPads? Made me stop and think that’s for sure!
Definitely learning and unlearning behaviors for better posture to help support by neck and shoulder going forward but it’s hard after so many years that’s for sure! And... the muscles like the old way but each day they will get stronger!
The road continues and now for another important part if you want to enjoy longevity in this sport or any other goal requiring a lot of tunnel vision physically & mentally and dedication oh and keep your wife/Hubby/partner and any friends lol. This is why you see updates from experienced and top level athletes posting pics of completely different stuff or different places ( maybe different gyms lol ) to the months and months of food and gym training pics you usually see.
Learn to love/be kind to yourself in the growing season. Look after your mind, body & soul. Fill your bucket. Fill the buckets of your loved ones and Friends after competing. Bring back the Balance as there is life to be enjoyed which will help your your drive.
I want to thank you my friends and supporters who not only messaged and cheered but those who have also helped me fund a bit of this trip. These generous people not only wanted to see me give a huge effort for the show, which I did. They also encouraged a few days down time over here. So I came back refreshed physically and mentally ready to kick their butts and motivate them or cheer and encourage hem towards their goals in the gym too I bet. 😃👍💪

Mi tercer semana de dieta... No es solo entrenar... También la dieta es muy importante.
Hace tres semanas que mi dieta es a base de carne huevos y queso....
Claro que sí hay tb frutas verduras y el te verde tb ayuda...
La verdad que sí bien venía entrenando ya durante todo este año 5 días por semana mínimo esperaba con la dieta resultados más determinantes. Pero esto es constancia y no dejar que la cabeza te hablé de más. Hay que fijar el objetivo y tirarse de lleno.
La verdad que en definición los resultados se ven pero mi objetivo de crecer me cuesta. Es que uno se conoce y sabe que tiene facilidad y en mi caso es la definición. Crecer cuesta más pero espero que de acá a un mes se puedan ver resultados más notorios. Siempre comiendo bien y llevando una vida sana. Solo entrenamiento, una buena dieta y buen descanso. Damn my knees were killing me today. It’s been over 10 years since I’ve had 2 screws 🔩 put in both of my knees and my scars remind me every day of what I went through. Yes some days are tough but do I let it affect me....HELL NO!!!
Obstacles are put into our lives everyday to challenge us to become better, stronger and wiser. They aren’t meant to deter us or make us throw in the towel. I’ve used mine to become stronger and truly appreciate my ability to workout. How are you going to use your obstacles?
