Ah this green smoothie is giving me life this afternoon! Had a nice sunny walk and catch up session around Lake Merritt.
Followed by this smoothie with avo, baby kale, spinach, mango, carrot, pineapple and OK. 🥑🍍🥕 🌿 super refreshing and filling!
If you go to the gym for a week, or a month, do you expect to look like a model or body builder?
No. not if you're even the slightest bit realistic.
Do yourself and your body a favor and give your body time to relearn how to function properly and heal.
You didn't get the way you are; tired, grouchy, overweight, hurting, sick, and unhealthy, in a month.
If you've been suffering for a year let's say, you owe it to yourself to give it at LEAST half that time to see REAL changes!
If you quit before that, that's exactly what you've done.... QUIT... GIVEN UP. You've decided your health isn't worth your time or effort. 😣 😩 😵
Medications treat symptoms, not the cause. When you address the root issues you can alleviate medications, (that cause so many more side effects and wreak havoc on our bodies even further)!!!!!

Chest and biceps 💪. Chest used to be one of my least favorite muscle groups to train due to the fact that it is extremely hard for me to feel the contraction in my chest without overly incorporating my shoulders. One major and simple way I corrected this issue is through proper warm up sets that target the muscle group (chest). I generally do 5-6 warm up sets of about 15-20 reps that are focused on perfect form and pumping blood to that muscle, telling your brain exactly what muscle group you are training. 💪💯

Orgullosamente les cuento que ayer obtuve el 2do lugar 🥈 en mi segunda competencia de Fitness categoría Bikini Novice. Una vez más El esfuerzo y el trabajo CONSTANTE y SOSTENIDO está trayendo sus frutos. No hay píldora mágica, tampoco hormonas (a menos que así lo desees), que te lleven al cumplimiento de tus metas y/o logros. Cada experiencia suma más posibilidades de hacerlo cada vez mejor.
Una vez más Diosito hizo de las suyas, el Jamas abandona a sus hijos, una vez más le pedí tranquilidad y confianza en el escenario y me lo concedió. Si oran con fe y desde el corazón no hay nada que Dios no les conceda.
El fitness no es mi pasión, es mi Estilo de vida.
Comer saludable no es mi pasión, es mi día a día. Y hasta me divierte (lo disfruto más).
Hacer ejercicios no me apasiona, me hace sentir bien y saludable, con energía. Competir tampoco es mi pasión, es la forma que he encontrado de poner a mi esfuerzo y dedicación en un escenario frente a personas que me juzguen. De pensar que los sueños se pueden cumplir y poner a mis metas a un límite inalcanzable. Y en saber que si lo quieres, lo puedes lograr. De inspirar y motivar a muchos a lograr sus metas. Mi principal propósito. .
No existen fórmula mágicas para lograr tus metas, solo la constancia, la dedicación, el tiempo y la paciencia, pero sobre todo esta última, lo dirán todo. Hoy y siempre solo seré cosas positivas.
PD: seguiré compitiendo pero no porque esto sea mi estilo de vida sino porque me encanta estar arriba del escenario, ponerme limites y alcanzarlos. Quien lo ha hecho sabe a qué me refiero.
Road Trip Complete!! When you are in the zone, a road trip is not an excuse for fast food and candy or coke from a petrol station. Be sure to prepare for your trip 👍 Stay true to yourself and achieve your goals. Now I am headed to the gym for shoulder day 👍💪
After having 2 kids I lost all motivation to workout. My kids became the focus and I didn't put myself as a priority. I became comfortable with the additional weight I had put on. Note: I didn't say I LIKED the extra weight but I became comfortable because I wasn't doing anything about it...except complaining 🤣🤣. .
I decided enough was enough when my size 14 clothes were starting to fit right. I couldn't stomach going up yet another size though I probably should have been wearing a 16. I wasn't wearing shorts or dresses. I wore a ton of black trying to hide my size in clothes. .
Once I got started on an at home workout program and a clean eating meal plan I really started seeing results. I added in a superfood shake which was a game changer for me. I rarely craved that cookie that I used to after a meal anymore and I had more energy and just overall started to feel better instead of sluggish. .
So what do you do when you lose weight, get healthier and start feeling better??? You tell all your friends lol. I help others just the way my coach helped me get started and stay on track with exercise and nutrition. Seeing others get healthy is extremely rewarding for me. I'm not my ideal size yet nor was I when I became a Coach but I've been able to share what I've learned to help others on their journey. .

To all my athletes out there, you definitely know and understand how important recovery is to our performance.
I go on for a long time about how the @herbalife24 products have helped improve my performance. I will mention though in the past I wouldn't have considered myself a long distance runner and honestly with only a few runs prior (nothing over 12 miles) I did a 30 mile run (just around the neighborhood) and went to a wedding later that night 😂😂 ( I was surprised at how great I felt after).
Without getting super technical (we can have personal convo if you need logistics. Lol), they are backed by science, free of junk, certified for sport at the highest level of sport.

A few people have asked what I have for lunches. It's usually a quick salad with tuna/salmon/chicken/turkey (one, not all 😂) or just a quick roll up like these. This was today's. So easy. Hello! I’ve gained quite a few new followers in the last few days so I thought I’d do a little post to introduce myself. My name is Viky, I’m 37 (eek) and I live in Durham, uk. I use this Instagram to help keep track of my battles with anxiety and my food; I’ve been dieting but have now decided to just feed my body things that seem to make it feel better, do the exercising I enjoy and let my weight look after itself. I live in the countryside with my best friend, our pug, 2 kitties and a mental tortoise. This pic is me waving from Kos last month ☀️I’m gonna make a big post about the slimming thing but I’ll probably do that tomorrow, today I wanna talk about anxiety. I’ve always been anxious and was agoraphobic (house and small safe zone outdoors) from 2011 to 2015. I had CBT over video in 2014 which eventually got me out and about again a bit at a time. I’ve now left my safe zone every day for over a year and 8 months, I am still anxious a lot of the time and still avoid certain situations due to anxiety but I am recovering all the time. I’m in a good place at the moment and can really see a future for myself out in the world. There’s loads of reasons for this, I talk about them most days though. Dog walking has played a massive part for me. Throughout being agoraphobic I’ve been able to continue working from home which I will always be grateful for; I love my job. At the moment I’m trying to get into mindfulness and learning to just be still, but it’s really hard. Soooooo that’s me! Hello followers old and new! Come and say hi and I’ll try to help anyone as much as I can but I’m no expert and sometimes can’t answer straight away. But please, if you need to, talk 💞💞💞💞 thank you for supporting me!
